Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

A couple months ago around Chris's birthday, I sent him a birthday card and some Lego stickers as a gesture of good will. Being wary, I didn't put my return address on the envelope. In light of these recent events of Chris rage-doxxing some of his Ebay customers, I'm so glad I didn't. Nowadays it seems like many interactions between Chris and someone else trying to help him are cases of "the farmer and the viper." Or more specifically with Chris, replace "viper" with deranged autistic.

If Chris finally lost enough hair that he can't look like a Tomgirl, would he drop the act or would he invest in a wig?

Most women with Chris's hairline (and there are some) would have already bought some wigs. Quality wigs are expensive -not even making fun, they're really pricey- and he's lazy, so he'll just let his hair be long. So long as Chris is comfortable, he won't change.

Chris is still as stupid as ever, but looking over the general history he seems to be maturing albeit at a very slow rate. Do you think he'll ever be anywhere near to normal, even if it's towards the end of his life?

What does "normal" mean though? If you mean well-adjusted, then no. That's pretty unlikely. Yeah he's maturing in the sense that his actions have gone from "petulant child" to "indignant teenager" but that just suggests that he'll eventually get to "ill-tempered adult"

Normal is relative. For most of us, we have no issue keeping our intimate personal lives and our public lives separate and distinct. I like to believe that being "normal" is to be proficient at recognizing social cues and having enough self-awareness to know when it is and isn't appropriate to tell people that you get sexual pleasure from having a baby carrots shoved in your urethra.

Chris can not or does not pick up on social cues well enough to ever really know what another person is feeling without being flat out told. Even after a point-blank discussion, he still seems to have trouble grasping certain concepts; important concepts such as body language. Body language can be subtle, but it tells you as much, if not more than words. Because of his inability to read people, he has trouble distinguishing the different levels of interpersonal relationships, such as the difference between a platonic friend and a lover. He's going to be lonely.

I think it's safe to say that Chris's issues go well beyond his autism. Also, you can be a whiz at social cues and decorum but still be a sociopath or something "abnormal" like that.

This probably isn't worth its own thread, but has anyone seen Chris's latest Ebay sale item?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/191349060065
Did Chris actually get some sort of commission-based sales gig? The company doesn't seem like the kind of fly-by-night Cutco operation that would accept him, so I have no clue what this is about.

This is an arrangement Chris made with one of his Facebook followers. Chris gets a cut of the sale. The dude who made the arrangement posted about this yesterday and immediately got banned by Null. So it's probably best not to talk about this in case Null is still in a sour mood.

Looks like a drop-shipping deal. Drop shipping can work out, but you have to know what you're doing. Part of running a successful drop-shipping concern is mediating returns or complaints, and it looks like Chris is already hinting that he won't take any responsibility for that at the very bottom of the description:

I have nothing to do with the creation or distribution of the product. When this item sells, I will relay the shipping details and the money, minus my small percentage cut of the final sale amount. Thank You, and have a good and safe day.

I think I have a new least favorite CWC-ism - "stud-to-stud". Mostly because I fail to see how it's a CWC-ism at all, it's just a normal way you'd say a variation of "X to X" - although most people would probably say "brick-to-brick".

Well anyway, I'll say the usual to the latest matters - Chris can't save himself because he has such a specific combination of traits that just won't let him. Like with the body language part, he can't perceive it naturally due to autism, and he never will because he's both too stupid to compensate for it, or to even realize the whole concept in the first place. A lot of autistics initially think that everyone thinks like them, just like it is baffling to a normal person that an autistic person would even have trouble with things like this. But they usually make efforts to adapt to the majority, but it never occured to Chris because no one ever hammered it to him at an early enough point, and he's not intelligent enough to notice things himself. And so he thinks that covering your face and faintly disguising his voice would make him unrecognizable because normally that'd be enough for anyone to fool him.

He is already beginning to talk like an autistic corporation. Imagine an entire corporation made up of autistics and headed by Christian Weston Chandler that caters exclusively to the autistic master race. It will be called the Atsimu Corporation. Chris will buy the Lego company and touch all their products with his magical autistic fingers turning them instantly into living toys. Then he will be able to create a new and perfect Manchester High School for himself. But sadly he will never be able to build a lego china even if he the richest man in the world. They will tell him no. Then they will send him to jail for tax evasion and he will twiddle his thumbs and introspect a lot. When he gets out of jail he will be a richer and wiser man. But he will still never have a Lego vagina.

CWCSonichu: I've actually talked to [Megan] through the AIM a few weeks ago; it's all okay between her and me as just friends now. :-)
This was late 2008, well after Megan stopped talking to Chris. Was this an impostor, was Chris lying (this was during the Vivian chat), or was it somehow legit?

Curious how Anna, Watermelon, Kengle, etc. haven't backed Chris' Kickstarter, even though they are supposedly his friends/True and Honest fan.

To be fair, we don't know that for sure. For some reason Kickstarter lists backers in batches of 10. There are 26 backers, and we won't see the last 6 unless it hits 30. So some of your favourite true and honest friends could be in there. Or in there with an alias.

Also, since I didn't see this elsewhere: Chris is now up to $20000. Basically all from 2 "backers". Interestingly, the original $200 donation I theorized was Chris getting the ball rolling.

This is not going to end well.
