A 5 year old focus is exactly the type of car that Chris should have. It is cheap, gets decent mileage, and repairs/parts are readily available and affordable. A Civic or Yaris or something would have also been good. So trading in for a Focus was a smart move. The dumb part was not waiting until he had sold the other cars to get the Focus.

I agree. I think a lot of what people think of as inherent talent is actually the will and inspiration to improve yourself. Chris doesn't have that, because he thinks he's already a great artist and because he's too lazy to work at it. He does everything in one go with no drafts, sketches or planning, and his attitude towards the results is never "That could be better," but, "Hmm, yeah, good enough." I think if he was willing to put in the kind of work that most artists do in developing their skills, he could actually be pretty good. He's at least aware of concepts like foreshortening and perspective.
 
Who is this Ken person who's apparently advising Chris and even giving him money? I've followed Christory for years but have declined somewhat in recent years after Bob died and Chris stopped posting a lot of new content. I'm not familiar with Ken, though I have been able to gather on the "Ken's Suggestion" thread that he's Chris's Facebook friend (at least) and is also autistic.

Thanks for posting this. Besides the obvious appearance of Bob, this page is especially interesting to me because, like Bob, I'm an Auburn alum. Where did you acquire a 1940s edition of the Auburn Glomerata?

Obsessive (genuine) Sonichu fan who spent lots and lots of time and money trying to get his sempai, Chris, to notice him. For a long time Chris never acknowledged his existence directly, but, hey, everyone can be bought. So now he's on Chris' friends list.

By "slow" do you mean he didn't get his work done on time? Or the other kind of slow? :stupid:
I always assumed the guy was self-employed, because no workplace would have him.
 
I'm reading more of CWCs hallmark of negative life events and I can't help but feel that he does not know what the word molest really means.
- Principal tried to sit me on his lap in an attempt to molest; I jumped off and hid under a desk.
- Snyder bans me from the PLace in overreacting.
- Makes it worse by setting up to become new "Manager", bringing in other nearby people with bribery, to have me and my mother arrested; spent an insane, emotionally abusive/molesting night in their jail. And the Court actions still go on.

I agree that a Focus is a good car for Chris, but I just don't think they are in a financial position to be trading in for new vehicles right now.

It's very reasonable to think Chris didn't like this intrusion into his personal space and thus felt molested. The principal might have not even done anything to warrant this aside from picking up Chris (or holding him) to make him feel that way. Chris is an autist after all, so it's not entirely unlikely he perceived it as weird.

To go on a tangent here: In the company I work at, there used to be an autist who also worked there. He was the really silent type that was always a bit weird socially and kept to himself, but he did his job without any issues. Until one day a co-worker wanted to get into the same elevator as the autist and said autist just didn't want to let him. Basically Co-Worker stepped into the elevator, autist told him to get out cause he didn't want him inside the elevator, co-worker told him he wouldn't go and the autist pulled out a knife.
For a normal person, the behaviour of the autist was a totally uncalled for escalation, for the autist it was most likely a logical conclusion of the situation (and he actually felt threatened by our co-worker).

tl;dr: some autists are really bad at picking up social cues and perceive situations differently from 'normal' people.

Well, I don't know about his night of molesting people in jail, but the thing about his principal trying to molest him sounds like it could be another example of Chris exaggerating his hardships. Speculating here, but a once-common misconception about gay men (which apparently the principal was) is that they are all child molestors - there are some hilarious 1950s public information films on YouTube about this. It's possible that Borb bought into this belief and decided to pretend that rather than Chris running off due to the atismu, their special snowflake had narrowly avoided the sodomising of a lifetime.

We can debate all day whether or not Bob and Barb were racists, but they were quite assuredly homophobic. Hell, both come from a time when giving the queer the business wasn't called "homophobia;" it was called "Tuesday."

Thank you! Found the old fella's graduation picture, 1952, Electrical Engineering. He's finally smiling. I would be as well! Seriously, at this point we know more about Bob that Chris and Barb combined. Like, way more.

Ninja Edit: I found the 1952 Graduation Picture but I can't get it uploaded correctly at work.

I might update Bob's wiki, if nobody minds. Edit: The CWCiki won't let me register. That's OK, I'll deal with it at home.

Um, is this a True and Honest picture? Because I have seen a True and Honest picture of her (its confirmed because she's with Liquid in those photos) and this actually isn't too far off.

Who's been Stalking her?
