Impossible to tell. She spent the past couple of decades gaslighting everyone around her (and online) about how she's at death's door and how you should feel terrible about it, to the point where when she finally does keel over, no one will predict the actual moment.

I read an old quote from the CWCki where Chris says he "invests" in the lottery like, $10 a week or something. I almost cried laughing, that is so amazingly stupid for a grown adult (even one with autism) to think, and a hilarious way of wording it, coming from him. Really a perfect example of how lottery corporations prey on the people who can least afford to buy their product.

I both would and wouldn't like to see Chris win the lottery. On one hand, it'd provide amazing content - he would for sure blow through millions and end up in even more debt within a year. On top of almost certainly being extorted by a Sweetheart or Idea Guy to the tune of who-even-knows, he would have a custom Nissan GT-R painted in Sonichu colors that he drove 5mph to play Go, every piece of DLC for every game on PS4, etc. Maybe he'd attempt solo travel to Japan to petition Nintendo HQ about a Sonichu collaboration. Michael Jackson levels of cosmetic surgery to assume his true Goddess form? An armed standoff in front of 14 BC when the repo men came to take away Son-Chu Prime? The possibilities are endless.

The only downside is that his god complex and dimensional merge BS would also subsequently go into hyperdrive from where it is even now and he would certainly view it as ultimate validation of his smugness, which would take away a lot of the enjoyment of said content.

It seems to me that senility has started to really dig it's claws into her, but like others have said, that could just be a ruse meant to elicit pitybucks from Chris's orbiters when she does deign to appear in a video.

It really is hard to say with any degree of certainty. If there's one thing Barb has proven to be a virtuoso at, it's manipulation.

The only one I can think of where she didn't know she was on camera was the one where she wandered down the hallway and griped at Chris something to do with checking accounts. She didn't sound particularly with it there, just on griping autopilot. Complaining is probably a burned in brain stem response by this time.

Nothing beyond garden-variety stupidity. There's nothing that can be medicated. There's no brain tumors. Nothing that would show up on an MRI. He's just dumb.

And really, I think it's stupidity horribly exacerbated by shitty socialization. I think Chris has lived his whole life being threatened with severe consequences, but being saved from them last minute.

That's going to really fuck up how you handle reality.

Taking into account that an overwhelming majority of people with autism have to be medicated due to comorbid disorders like OCD, mood swings, delusional disorders, and hallucinations, and the picture becomes clearer. Chris' entire life has been influenced by having a broken brain, he's not just a dumb blonde or a kid who was given a bad shot at life. While I do agree some of it has to do with coping, but a lot of it also has to do with personality disorders and an abnormal brain that probably doesn't even work as well as the Keurig.

You're conflating hallucinations and delusional disorders with a lot more mundane symptoms.

Chris doesn't have hallucinations, and his delusions would clear up pretty damn quick if he had someone holding him responsible in his life.

Like I'd love to see Chris go to jail for three months, just to see his mindset when he comes out. I really believe that if Chris believed he could use Mewtwo to attack someone or run away before jail, he sure as hell wouldn't try it again after going in the clink for some time.

(Or, well, assuming they don't baby him like his current probation is doing.)

I bet if you had a hearing to put him in a group home and he didn't want to go there, he'd suddenly be as sane as he needed to be not to be committed.

Schizophrenics have mental disturbances and hear things. Chris isn't experiencing physical hallucinations. He just doesn't want to experience the real world anymore and he's convinced that's a genuine option on the table.

Schizophrenia also includes paranoid delusions, like feeling someone is watching you when you're alone. It's not exclusively "I hear voices".
But, a lot of conditions can cause hallucinations [visual or audio], psychosis, and delusions, so I hesitate to armchair diagnose Chris.

I wonder if Virginia is on board with trans "progress" enough to put Chris in a women's prison if he ever actually got sent to jail. I'm aware it's the south, but the wind is blowing strong in that direction across the whole country these days. Though, he did get his ID changed to indicate Female, would that be enough?

That being said, he'd undoubtedly get placed in some kind of loony protective custody quarantine, so even if he did go to jail which is unlikely enough, he would never be around anyone dangerous and would get treated with kid gloves. The only possibility of a correctional facility improving Chris after 37 years of being Chris is if... I don't even know. Maybe they try him on some meds and force him to attend therapy every day and it shows effect? Seems optimistic. At any rate, having zero internet access would for sure be something positive.

He'd probably be safer in normal jail. Anyone in a jail crazy enough to be in a loony bin in jail is really seriously crazy and probably more dangerous than Chris.
