Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

Speaking of his ebay money, just how much did he make? And is it considered reportable income? Come to think of it, has Chris ever paid taxes?
He made enough to putter along, but not enough to catch the attention of the gubment. "Puttering along" is pretty much all Chris can manage.

Also highly unlikely that Chris has never paid taxes, or at least his own. (Was his month-long at Wendy's long enough to warrant an income tax?) His parents made token efforts to introduce him to the necessary household paperwork, but they picked it right back up after Chris predictably started playing fast-and-loose with the money needed to pay bills. Chris, in general, is not one for bureaucracy.

I would go as far as saying he is incapable of day to day understanding of Tax, Bob tried to instil some form of understanding in him however he seemed to give up (I would to if it was Chris I was trying to teach). He leaves thing's like that to other people, While I can only speak for Tax forms in the UK in terms of filling them in an paying Tax I have seen American ones, some of the questions are beyond Chris's ability to understand an answer.

But aside from that Chris has no idea of value, to him money is something that just happens, not something that has a value more than the bigger the toy the more they ask for it, just look at the fines he gave in the comics. He has no basic understanding of personal finance, let alone State or Business (I point to the buy more so I can ship my existing commissions, facebook begging), he will only pay the minimum's when it comes to debts he has ran up an when that starts significantly eating into his toy budget he has had it payed off in the past by bob, he has never had to deal with real financial hardship other than a demisihed toy budget, Barbs understanding isn't much better and now she is at the point where it wont matter much longer so will spend money on things that make her life better in the short run as she isn't going to be the one feeling the pain when the situation becomes critical.

In short Chris is incapable of understanding Tax even though it funds his lifestlye.

Most people probably wouldn't, but if Bob knew how to do taxes or knew someone who would do it for cheap/free, Chris would have likely gotten some money back. It probably wouldn't be much, though.

So, given Chris' apparent interest in musicals (according to his OKCupid answers anyway) has anyone introduced him to the Rocky a Horror Picture Show yet? It seems like something he'd like, if only because of his obsessive focus on transvestitism of late. Plus he could (sort of) social with other human beings. He wouldn't even be the weirdest person there!

If Chris was trapped in a Groundhog Day style time-loop he'd probably never notice anything was wrong.

Actually, he might do better that way! It'd give him some structure, some routine.

Does anyone else think Chris could have Klinefelter Syndrome (XXY)? For those who don't know what that is, uh... Look it up I guess, you have a the googles. Anyway, I was curious about this because of a few symptoms I noticed in him. He has an unusually high voice, feminine face and body, larger than normal moobs for his body type, and I'm pretty sure those with XXY are likely to develop learning disabilities. Just a thought.

Has it been revealed yet why Chris pushed for an open relationship with Catherine? It's very different from his previous thinking on the subject.

I've thought so too, but it turns out people with Klinefelter Syndrome aren't likely to have male pattern baldness.

I guess it was supposed to increase the amount of vagina he could pull in.
Note that HE wanted to enjoy the freedom to have sex with differing partners while Catie going on a boattrip with Colin triggered a massive shitstorm.
So it's just another double standard for Chris. No commitment on his side and full commitment on the other.

That is certainly possible, and it seems the most logical explanation.

But something about it doesn't quite add up for me. Chris has never shown any wavering in his desire for a true and honest sweetheart and he has never shown any unwillingness to commit. When he was with Catie he seemed to trumpet his "taken" status. I am not aware of him pursuing anyone else.

I don't have an alternative explanation that holds together well. Maybe he thinks he is any easier sell to a sweetheart if he doesn't have to be the only one in her life? Although that doesn't really jive with his ego. Maybe he wants a relationship where they bring other women into the bedroom occassionally? Although if he did, he would probably just say that.

So maybe you are right. I know I shouldn't reject a theory about Chris just because it means he is acting completely inconsistently and illogically. But the open relationship thing is still a bit of a mystery to me.

Well, he did make a few stabs at Renee and he asked @Himawari for Photos and with @Flufflehugs he seemed to lack the propper distance as well, even though both only happened to be Ebay customers.

I think Chris consideres his crusade against SANIC's blue arms as similar to public protests he has seen on the news or read about on the intarwebz. He probably reads SJW tumblrs, on which there is a lot of coverage of things like the Ferguson Protests, Femen protests against the catholic church, slutwalks and all kinds of activism. Therefore, he thinks that protesting against the blue arms is similar in spirit, and is probably amazed that there aren't any crowds of protesters yet marching on Sega HQ and demanding to bring back beige colored arms. How something that is extremely relevant to him isn't relevant to the masses is beyond CWC.

Chris made at least $3000 by the time he owed eBay the $300 (they charge you 10% of the money you make AND the Shipping)

I was just showing some Chris videos to a friend over Steam and I noticed that in this one

Chris isn't stuttering or using any unusual CWCisms here. What's with that? Was he just having a good day speech-wise?

No one pays taxes on ebay, if you make under 20k in revenue they don't send a report to the IRS so your chances of being audited are extremely slim.

Hello,
I am planning to write a short story mirroring the misadventures of our favorite man child.
However, I want to write a work of fiction, so I'll only be using certain parts of the Chronicles of Chris-Chan, along with different names.
It's also gonna take place within a year at most, so I can't put the whole thing in.
I already know that I'm going to use elements from the Love Quest, the Julay Saga and the recent Gamestop incident as references, but I'm wondering if there are any other events I should look into.
Any suggestions?

I suggest you follow Hemingway's advice to "write the truest sentence you know." Shit yourself and sit in it for several hours a day so you can drawn on the authentic experience.
