Since Clyde played Vivian, was this a mirror of how he really felt? Did he originally start as a white knight, or was the transformation from white knight to troll planned all along?

I don't think we had a regular Jackie voice. Jackie was mostly email. I'm pretty sure we did our best to keep Jackie off of calls, or if we had to have her, we just had a voice handle her for a second or so and then pass off the call to whoever the real star of the call was going to be.

The big Jackie call I'm thinking of was the Lars call, which was pretty much what I just said. Unless there are some calls or something that I forgot about, that's the main voice Jackie incident that I can think of.

And I don't remember who Lainna is and I can't find it on the cwcki. Link maybe?

Regarding Vivian being a white knight-turned-troll:

Uhh, Vivian was a lot closer to how Clyde actually thought. When he got into trolling, he started working more on what sort of humor he could extract from the Chris situation. Let's get Chris to do something funny, is what Clyde Cash was into.

Hey Apple-Chris! Thanks for putting up with Daddy last night. I had gone out with my new co-workers for a drink after work and when I got home I saw that Mommy dearest had let him get into the liqueur cabinet again. Daddy's kinda bitter about Mike Judge since they knew one another years ago and when you mentioned he was like Hank he flew off the handle. When he's sober he's TOTALLLY not like that but when he's got a lick o' drink the bitter-stuff just bubbles right on over and blows up!!

About your step-daddy, I did not mean to actually compare him with Hank. Actually, it's something else. Straight-up: my family and I, we have received a number of abusive calls from someone or more who made bad impersonations of the character, "sellin' propane and propane accessories; boy, I tell you what" and such shit. To us, it was perceived as a bunch of Troll calls. And after hearing that talk from him that night, I felt suspicion, because he sounded Very close to what I have heard before. I am not accusing anyone, and I do not mean any offense; I just felt paranoid. Is it possible that your step-dad got my numbers from you and during past drunk episodes rang me and my family to give us abuse and hate? I mean, his voice was just Soo close to what I have heard before. I apologize if I've made you feel discomfort.

I'm sorry for not reading your recent messages before today; I made a presumption of further aggression, and I was wrong. I am sorry for making you cry with my absence. And I am sorry for not answering your calls. I have been falling asleep earlier and getting up early lately. I have been fatigued from the stress of failing you, taking the aggression and all. Uhh, I don't remember anything like that. If anything, that sounds like we just claimed responsibility for something some julay people were doing because a Hank Hill voice sounded funny. Alec might know better though.

It seems strange that Barb, for all her pretentions of upward mobility, gentility, and middle-class respectability, is not an avid churchgoer, not even for the sake of appearances, which is especially remarkable considering the old-fashioned, hominy-grit world in which she was raised. Is it at all possible, knowing what we do about her personal history, she was slut-shamed out of going to church? As in, what's the point of going to church if everyone's gonna give you the stink-eye for an hour (not to mention ruining the post-service coffee and snacks)?

I have honestly never gotten the vibe that she fancied herself some sort of southern gentility. She's always come across as I-do-whut-I-want, it's-all-about-me white trash.

As for her not going to church anymore, I think her little autistic dumplin' had more to do with it. That and her colitis gives her a good excuse not to go.

All right, I have a quick question. Was it ever determined to be true that Tara Strong actually replied to Chris's comment about MLP? I know that there was a Facebook screenshot posted on some YouTube video, but was it ever actually verified to be true, as in, actually the real Tara strong? I see that on the CWCki, under the entry for 2013, the opening paragraph hints that it really happened, but I remember when it was brought up on these forums, most people believed it to be false.
