Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

I keep hearing people say that he has no privacy and doesn't really use his room anymore, how do we know that? Or is that to be revealed at a later date?

Chris wouldn't move into a group home of his own accord. Slow-in-the-minds or not there's no way he'd tolorate sharing his living space with so many people.

I doubt he could live independantly for more than a week if he had to pay bills or rent. The city council or whoever's responcible for issues like this would have to step in and hold his hand. I think he might be willing to have a live-in carer as long as they didn't intrude on his day to day life too much. As in encouraging him to bathe, keep his room tidy, eat properly. All the stuff that causes him stress basicly.

According to Marvin, Chris is capable of paying bills if for no other reason than to keep his life upgrade running. Things like property tax or other non obvious bills are what could potentially screw him up. But I'd be willing to bet he'd run to Rockey (assuming he hasn't alienated her completely) and would either ask her to take care of it or she'd show him how to pay it himself.

The city of Ruckersville (and the state of Virginia for that matter) couldn't give less of a shit about Chris unless he breaks the law again. There's no force in the city (or state) that's going to come to his door when Blarb finally rasps out her last breath to make sure her little Chrissypoo is cared for. And despite what ever defense Bell may of used to wriggle his greasy little adult autistic child of a client off the hook, he was still deemed competent enough to stand trial for his crimes.

As far as the courts are concerned, Chris is out of sight, out of mind. He can live in squalor and filth all he wants as long as he disturbs no one and doesn't break any more laws (which he inevitably will).

This is something I have been curious about. In the general forum people have posted pictures of themselves, talked about their lives, etc. How do other members feel about this? That is if he ever were to go in that forum.

What do you mean? Like, how would Chris react if he realised the 'trolls' here are actually normal people are not the cartoonish, devil-like caricatures I'm sure he imagines us as?

He's made facebook posts in the past year or two that talk about how he's stuck in the same room with Barb and has to play his ps3 in front of her and things like that. But mostly I'm just confirming the situation.

I think someone actually asked him this at one point (asked Chris that is, not Sonichu), and the answer is no, Sonichu would stay as he is and Robee would represent tomgirls.

Chris can look at my pictures all day long if he wishes to (although I'd be willing to bet that Null has restricted his access to this particular forum). What would it change if he knew my face? Or anyone else for that matter? I look like shit, sure, but it's not like they'll come knocking on my door or hand me lawsuits on that fact alone.

Is there any more information on Barb's breast cancer? Is it possible her cancer is rather recent and Chris is grossly misinterpreting "survivor"?

Google's results are customized to the person searching them. Chris still might be the top autistic manchild, but your search results will still be affected by your browsing habits. With yahoo's search, Chris still came up in my results, but he was further down.

Yeah I put in adult autistic child on Google and he didn't show up on the first page (didn't bother looking beyond that) then put it with quotation marks around it and [cwc]This is how the Trial went[/cwc] came up second but nothing other than that.
 
I searched "high-functioning autistic manchild" and managed to get Chris at the top result.
