Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

That's totally fake crying though. I don't think he'd have any reason to fake-cry over Bob's death, he'd be genuinely crying there.

Plus I have a thing about seeing other people cry, it really gets to me

EDIT: Question I just thought of while reading the Kengle thread (because hey, it's something to do while I listen to the new aphex twin songs) - how many medallions did Kengle buy overall?

Oh I agree but I have some genuine questions about him an Bob I think it could fill in I would like to listen to it once an I would not share my thoughts on it. Chris genuinely expressing emotions is rare an this is a some what private mater but I want to have some questions answered without invading his privacy publicly at least.
Yeah, but everyone wants to hear that sort of thing. Something like that wouldn't be private if everyone who wanted to got to listen to it.

Not much can be said other than Chris genuinely loved his father and his life was turned upside down when he died.

I will honestly take your word for it, my wish to hear it is out of trying to build my own understanding of his relationship with bob. For me it's not the hidden content (it should stay hidden) but as I said I have questions genuine ones at that about there relationship I would like to have blanks filled in on but I also don't want to invade what's left of his privacy especially during such a emotional an heart breaking time publicly. I am content in knowing he genuinely missed his dad, and the heart break he sufferd I can only wonder at.

Chris still does art commissions, right?
...why not commission him to do the next issue of Sonichu?

Personally, I don't care about Sonichu proper, but I would like Chris to make autobiographical comics a la American Splendor.

Like maybe split his life into different sections and dedicate a comic to each one. The first comic can be his school years, and the big climax is his graduation where he ran off the stage crying because he didn't get any awards. I'm not sure if PVCC and his bannings from the mall/target/etc should be one issue or two. Aside from Mary Lee Walsh, I don't know if there's much material for PVCC to be its own issue.

And then an issue for the gameplace, an issue for the trolling, and finally an issue for his post-Bob life.

I am not sure if that is the best indication of their relationship. He was reacting to what was a sudden and unexpected (for him) loss. If you care about someone, the subtleties of the relationship tend to be pushed aside at the time for grief.

To see the real relationship between Chris and Bob we should look at what was said by both of them when Bob was alive. We have that info.

They bickered a lot. Chris found Bob frustrating. On the other hand, he did seem to see his dad as a bit of a hero. He seemed to trust Bob to help him with practical matters (for more emotional stuff he went to Barb).

Bob found Chris frustrating as well. He didn't really understand the things that made Chris "different". He seemed to want Chris to do well. He thought he had some skills and abilities that weren't appreciated by "society". He thought Chris was being unfairly victimized by trolls and bullies and tried to step in, but he didn't really know how to. He tried to make sure Chris was set up for the future.

They seemed to spend a decent amount of time together willingly. Both of them had the propensity to ramble on without really taking input from their audience. I picture them nattering away, each one talking about a completely different topic, neither realizing that. They didn't have a lot in common, but they tried to find some common ground, like old-timey video games and fast-food breakfasts.

So that is their relationship. If you heard the tape (which I haven't), all you would find out is that Chris was sad when Bob died. Very similar to how the vast majority of people feel when a parent dies. Not particularly informative.

I have another load of questions:
1. What channels has Chris-Chan been known to watch?
2. Is Clyde Cash still trolling/stalking Chris?
3. Do you believe that Chris-Chan is going to go to prison?
4. What evidence is there of Chris being a megalomaniac?
5. How often does Chris eat fast food?
6. Does Chris understand/know about foreign countries to an extent to point out Russia, Brazil, Italy, Japan, and the US on a map?
7. How could one contact an imprisoned Chris?
8. In light of the tomgirl saga, does Chris still use Axe as a shower in a can, or has he switched to more feminine body sprays and perfumes?
9. During repairs to Chris' house, was the mess left as is, or was it cleaned?
10. Does Chris still shit his pants?

Clyde disappeared forever. I remember some thread on /cow/ talking about him, but I forget exactly what they were saying he does now.

I have another load of questions:
1. What channels has Chris-Chan been known to watch?
Cartoon Network, whatever the hell channel My Little Pony is on, tons of Netflix.
2. Is Clyde Cash still trolling/stalking Chris?
Nope. All reports say he's moved on.
3. Do you believe that Chris-Chan is going to go to prison?
For this offense? No. I know the question wasn't directed at me, but nobody thinks that. At most, jail for a month or so, and even that's unlikely.
4. What evidence is there of Chris being a megalomaniac?
About a wiki's worth.
5. How often does Chris eat fast food?
Is that not on the wiki? It really should be.
6. Does Chris understand/know about foreign countries to an extent to point out Russia, Brazil, Italy, Japan, and the US on a map?
Unclear. He struggled to grasp the concept of "Australia," and personally I'm not sure he really gets how oceans work.
7. How could one contact an imprisoned Chris?
Please don't.
8. In light of the tomgirl saga, does Chris still use Axe as a shower in a can, or has he switched to more feminine body sprays and perfumes?
One of the Britney Spears fragrances.
9. During repairs to Chris' house, was the mess left as is, or was it cleaned?
The surviving hoard was divided between a storage facility and the rental house; it's since been moved back into the renovated 14BC.
10. Does Chris still shit his pants?
Probably.

Would you agree with this statement?: "Chris has always depended on the cruelty of strangers."

Lurk moar.

I'm not saying this to be mean, but to keep the community from lynching you out of irritation. Virtually every one of those questions has been answered in threads, several of them multiple times. We have a Search function that is invaluable for this sort of thing, and patience will take care of the rest.

Ultimately I'd have to say no. Chris uses the PERCEIVED cruelty of strangers to explain his sedentary lifestyle, first blaming his autism for not having a girlfriend or a job, then blaming the trolls and now blaming the indifference of those local to him, but if anything Chris's lifestyle depends far more on the kindness of strangers who let him coast through school, struggle through college or try and deflect some of the trolling against him. The best example of this is the 28th October 2011, Snyder actively asked for leniency in Chris's sentence because he felt sorry for him, and so Chris avoided harsher punishments. However, to Chris, he got screwed out of justice by that wimp Bell while Snyder got away scot-free with his attempt to frame Chris
