I think he's quite confused, but I don't think he's faking it for china. If he had been, he would have stopped by now because it hasn't exactly worked that way. I'm still somewhat doubtful CC is "really" transsexual but that's really not up to me. I just can't quite bring myself to the pronoun shift, not to be offensive or anything but it just doesn't seem right.

Partly it is that Chris isn't even consistent about it, so why should I be? Brianna Wu is sort of my baseline minimum for how little effort you can put forward and still have me respect your choice of pronoun even if I respect literally absolutely nothing else about you.
 
Newbie, here, I've been following Chris for the last few months and have been reading up on the CWCiki quite extensively.

This is going to veer into What If? territory but assuming Borb dies at some point in the near future (not exactly ludicrous given her health situation) how is Chris going to be able to continue living in 14BC? Do we know if the house still has a mortgage? At the very least property taxes and utility bills would have to be paid, I assume it would come out of the tugboat?

Also the car. If Chris is wasting all his tugboat money on Lego sets and McDonalds, how is he making payments on the Focus? Given his absolutely fucked credit I'm sure the interest rate on the loan is something crazy like 15-20%. Is Borb helping out financially in this regard?

In terms of your first question, there are many threads on the forum which deal with it. I don't know if there's a consensus on these issues.

In terms of your second question, Marvin (a big insider) has said several times that Chris's credit is sterling. Chris makes minimum payments, but he makes them on time.

Given that Chris doesn't know anything about money, he doesn't say much about these issues publicly, so our knowledge is fuzzy.
 
I'm a long-time lurker to all things CC and Sonichu, and I've got a question, or more aptly, I'm looking for opinions this subject.

I've found myself in a rather interesting position, as I will be in Virginia for the rest of this week as of tomorrow, for a friends wedding.

While I have full plans to make the CWCville tour, my actual question relates to Chris himself. Since these plans were made quite some time ago, I went out of my way to purchase a pair of Sonic the Hedgehog animation Cels and got a frame for each of them. My question is, what are the chances that he'll even accept them, if I was to stop by his house and offer them as a gift?

There are no ulterior motives, no goals in mind, no plans to troll, not even a thought to as much as try and pull a fast one on him. It's legitimately just doing something nice for him, seeing how we all know that his obsession with sonic runs deep.

Should I even bother making the attempt, or is it likely that neither he, nor barb, will actually answer the door if they were home?
 
I don't know how he would react to someone knocking on his door and giving him something that's been associated with trolling in the past. Might be best to avoid trouble and just mail it to him.

Because there was a time when he would just return everything to sender when every little shithead was just mailing him random things for the sake of spurning his 'spergs

First things first: are you a DAMN MALE? If yes, even if he accepts them (optimistic), they will sit under a box and he will not give a single fuck.

If you are a female, I would say stay clear the hell away from 14BLC unless you enjoy the imminent prospect of being leered at or worse.

The choice is yours.

Thought that counts, and who knows, by the time they resurface again(assuming they don't burn in another fire), they might actually be WORTH something!
 
If you do decide to do it, make sure you film/record (as long as it's legal, of course). If something lulzy happens (unlikely) we'll have another piece of Christory on our hands.

Just fucking mail it to them, it's not worth the trouble or drama of giving it in person, we all have no idea how he will react.
 
This is a deceivingly hard question, when you think about it:
When you mail it to him, what's stronger? Chris' paranoia (->throw it away) or Barb's hoarding ("Chrishun! That there box is perfect to place here to stabilize the music-room pile #12!")
When you try to hand it over, what will be more likely? Charb calling the cops the moment they see you on their porch, Chris macing you like an idiot or having them just yell at you impotently?

Seeing how you're trying to do something legitimately nice (for whatever reason, I might not guess), I kinda sorta approve, but be aware Chris is an ungrateful asshole that's gonna complain you didn't frame them the way he'd like or something... if he even accepts them.
and for some reason, I now wonder if you repainted the arms...

The chances are very high. Chris doesn't return things to sender without opening the package. He gets lots of presents from weens trying to get an in with him, so he can't risk throwing unopened mail out.

Having just recently seen him in public, I would say go for it. You see him in his videos getting all angry, beating his chest and yelling about how much he hates trolls and what he'll do if he ever sees them. IRL in public he's just this really timid, unthreatening guy. I think the macing was a one time thing cuz he got confused. As long as you're respectful and unintimidating it will go fine. He may not give you the time of day or show any appreciation after receiving your gift, but he won't mace you.

Nothing bad is going to happen to you if you approach Christian respectfully. However, don't be surprised if he doesn't give a shit about you and does whatever he can to get rid of you as quickly as possible. He probably won't care that much about your friendly gesture. The real thing you have to worry about is being unappreciated by Chris, if you can accept that it will be okay.
 
Chris already uses Craigslist. Surely he can list the medallions there too, and not have to deal with eBay / PayPal holding his money because he's Blow Standard.

Or would that leave him open to :ween: / :julay: / :alog:?
