That was part of it. IIRC, Crystal--the imaginary sister, not Crystal the imaginary daughter--came from two ideas: Chris' curiosity as to what it would be like if he were female, and Chris' childhood desire to have a sibling to play with. Interestingly, one of the first appearances of Crystal was on the homemade Yu-Gi-Oh! card "Girlfriend's Gift," with Crystal pictured as the girlfriend. Considering the overlap between Chris' idea of the perfect wife/girlfriend/sister/daughter, as well as his idea of women in general (kind/caring/sweet/spunky/what the fuck ever), this isn't that surprising.I think Chris' imaginary sister Crystal was one of the first signs of his tom girl side. A female version of him in his head? That's what he's turned himself into, a sweetheart from the ground-up.
