He makes more money than I do working a full time job. Makes me wanna pull a Kurt Cobaine. It was $1,300 last anyone checked (in 2014) and there have probably been cost of living adjustments since then.

Nah I honestly think after his death there is a chance that Chris and Sonichu may get some interest with art scholars as an example of outsider art. He always reminded me of Henry Darger and the Vivian Girls. The key difference between Chris and most outsider artists is his work has been discovered within his own lifetime (granted not with the art elite), which is the one area he fails to meet the criteria of an outsider artist. With as much info available as there is about Chris it would make for pretty accessible scholarship, compared to other outsider artists who very little is usually known about.Nope. This entire thing will lead to nothing. 30 years from now, we will be the only ones remembering CWC and this forum. This entire thing is the fascinating broken life of a random fat blob unworthy of it.
Exactly. The simple but unpleasant reality is you just can't save somebody who doesn't want to be saved. I've always maintained that if Chris was such a lazy bum he actually could have been successful, or at least a productive member of society. That fucker doesn't even have the drive to fulfill his commisions, if he can't be bothered to make some Crayola Magic crap people paid him to make then there is no way in hell he would even apply for a job.Just so you know, I tried to make Chris gets into education again last year.
I searched for courses on graphic design, I send him links where he could apply and even chatted with him about the possibility of actually making Sonichu a thing as a monetized webseries.
You want to know the reaction of Chris? He ended up blocking me.
Chris doesn't want help or bettering himself, he is a lazy man who at this time of his life can't change anymore.
Oh and don't use your period as excuses for being a fag.
Darger put a lot of work into his strange creation and a lot of it actually looks good. He was also ridiculously prolific. Chris is a lazy fuck and his work, such as it is, is known for how utterly shitty it is and how little effort he puts into it.Nah I honestly think after his death there is a chance that Chris and Sonichu may get some interest with art scholars as an example of outsider art. That's a good point. The Vivian Girls is by some estimates the longest story ever told, certainly one of the longest. Certainly a big reason for Chris' notoriety is how utterly delusional he is. Deviantart and Tumblr are filled with crap that is just as poor quality, but none of the creators seem to seriously think they are producing high art. Chris deadass thinks people actually like his crap, and in his world he is a bona fide celebrity. No doubt without the internet there would be no lasting interest in Sonichu after his death, it would be dismissed as just another Sonic OC and tossed in a recycling bin. IIRC Darger's work was almost disposed of as well, fortunately that didn't happen.Darger put a lot of work into his strange creation and a lot of it actually looks good. I'd be fucking surprised, but I hope your optimism will be proven right someday. I'd love to see that fucking Sonichu still lives on even after the madness ended. It'd be a bittersweet memento of that one weird autist from a simpler era of the internet, and the world in general for some of us.Nah I honestly think after his death there is a chance that Chris and Sonichu may get some interest with art scholars as an example of outsider art. It's difficult to say because internet history is sailing in uncharted waters academically. I'm sure most scholars would consider internet history / culture beneath them. same with fan works. That is possible to change as we get more and more academics who grew up with the internet, many of him I'm sure are familiar with CWC. He really does epitomize a lot of the old internet, his life is almost a microcosm of internet history.I'd be fucking surprised, but I hope your optimism will be proven right someday. The CWCki says he gets $1300 a month but that $900 goes to Barb for the mortgage.Anybody aware of what the $$$ total of Chris's "tugboat" neet bux are?
The $400 he keeps no doubt is for Axe, McDonald's, toys, and estrogen drugs. The CWCki says he gets $1300 a month but that $900 goes to Barb for the mortgage.
Actually, there is a movement in academia, of which I am a member, where certain aspects of Internet History/Culture are being studied. I believe it started with Second Life and has spread its wings from there. There are studies in Academia focusing on the aspect of trolling and internet culture (of which my interest is in). Within the field of History, which is my field ironically, it has not really caught up with writing down the day to day but I think it might change in the near future especially with the effect of the Pandemic and the cultural shifts that came with it. Thread such as these and the Daily updates ones are a gold mine to be honest. It's difficult to say because internet history is sailing in uncharted waters academically. I'm glad it's already starting to change. History and art will probably be slower to catch on, but I'm sure it will happen. Chris certainly has a ton of potential for historians because of the shear volume of knowledge about him, it never ceases to amaze me that he may be the most documented human ever. Trolling is certainly something that has a lot of mainstream attention now, and using Chris to trace it's history is a great lens to study it. I'm not caught up on Geno's documentary, but so far Liquid and Kacey seem to have been the last of the non malicious trolls; especially since Liquid seems to have initially had no inention of trolling Chris (which is why that saga is so funny).Actually, there is a movement in academia, of which I am a member, where certain aspects of Internet History/Culture are being studied. CWC is of interest to me because his life on the Internet signifies, I believe, the golden age of trolling (or the height of the internet) where it was more fun, to an extent silly, and mostly non-malicious. The change in how trolling occurred is also signified by how vicious it began turning, evidenced at the beginning with characters like BlueSpike who at that time was just a statistical anomaly, but then just veered to very malicious and very damaging territory. This is personified with the emergence of the Idea Guys and trolls which came after them, where instead of focusing on the character of CWC was now entirely (or to a extremely large extent) intent on damaging a person (such as attacks on CWC financial aspect such as blackmail, mental aspect etc.) which had serious ever lasting effects that weren't present when trolling of CWC first began. It clearly had changed but the sort of switch to more malicious forms of trolling isn't really clear unless someone actually interviews the people behind the Idea Guys or interviews current trolls to get an insight into their mindset which would allow me/scholars to chart how this changed.
Ats, surely?
It depresses me. There are so many great generals, priests and kings in our history and instead, we got CWC.it never ceases to amaze me that he may be the most documented human ever.
Indeed. The only people who rival him for most documented are Napoleon, Lincoln, Jefferson, and maybe Churchill or Lawrence. The fact we know so much about him is a symptom of his delusions, IIRC he added so much info to his ED page because he thought it was a sincere article about him and proof he was famous. One of my favorite Christory tidbits is that Wikipedia has blacklisted him from being the subject of an article because of his and troll's constant attempts.Ats, surely?

Another way Chris has shown how much the internet has changed is how he started out publishing his work on sites he made himself, which is a pretty stark contrast to modern web artists who almost always start on social media and often only make their own site if they have enough success.
That was when he trooned out.Something changing after 2015
Most of the weens seem to be nonmalicious, which honestly is probably why they're only weens and not true trolls. Shit like like trying to order a pizza to his house isn't malicious, of course harassing a business to own a local weirdo is pretty shitty in its own right.I just read on the subreddit on Chris that there appears to be two videos that the Idea guys made which TheCaptian saw and may have confirmed, one where Chris punches Barb and one where he poops on a towel. I'm not interested in the poop one, but is there any confirmation that Chris actually punched Barb?
You are right, he may be one of the most documented person on the Internet but he's also the longest one with any presence I believe that began in the late 90s - early 2000s. KF does a great job at organizing this information into an easy and accessible format.
It is my theory that non-malicious trolls were at least active until 2014-2015 with something changing after 2015, though honestly its not clear to me what. CWCwiki says that the idea guys cames about in 2017 but I believe (and this is just speculation at this point) that they may have been present at least in 2016 because of the way they influenced Chris. While we may never exactly know how they wormed their way into his thought process but something was there, whether it was other trolls who weren't documented or some form of pre-Idea Guys that had to have taken place.
Yes, I agree that plays a slight part but its something more than that I think. Up to 2016, if you've seen Geno's latest episode, he still seems to be a normal functioning Chris-Chan with Chris-Chan like tendencies such as cursing and doing his usual death threats which he had done before. So he was alright (if alright is a word you can really use) up until then. The snap in 2017 inflicted by Joshua Wise and his idea guys, I think must have found a foundation in 2016 for them to radically attack Chris in a way that was reminiscent of BlueSpike but somehow even more malicious. Whether Wise and his minions were in contact with Chris before is conjecture at this point unless something turns up. At least from my theory Wise was present in 2016 in contact with Chris, beginning I believe with the Lady Manager Saga and may have established a stronger hold on Chris by the Quinn saga, but to what level and how influenced Chris became remains unknown. That was when he trooned out.

Wise and Boyd weren't weens. Weenery is low effort bullshit that doesn't yield any results other than the embarrassment of the weens themselves. The IG's methods were calculated and pretty organized for what were just two NEETs with too much time on their hands. Wise also got his in with Chris from being one of his customers through one of his online sales (ebay I think?). I personally think Wise didn't understand just how gullible he was and when he realized he could make Chris write dumb shit into Sonichu canon it yeeted him into a power trip.Yes, I agree that plays a slight part but its something more than that I think. I think there needs to be, at least in the post-Idea Guys phase, a different classification of weens and how they develop in relation to Chris. If Joshua Wise was a ween (like I believe) he may have had a presence pre-2017 which would indicate either there are weens with malicious intentions (which could be classified as ween-trolls) just waiting for the opportunity to pounce and are actively expanding on the groundwork laid by the Idea Guys. One such example, I believe are Praetor LLC. Other weens, like you mentioned, will order pizza to Chris's house but not do anything or will alternatively seek to defend Chris in which case they join Watchmen or whatever they are called. I've not adequately read all the documentation on the Watchmen but they may be a different side of the same coin.

This was also during a time where it wasn't widely known that Chris's reactions to the trolling (the videos, the art, etc) were completely scripted and manipulated by trolls who were investing hundreds of hours into making sure he follows their crude outline. It got to a point where the focus was more on creating entertaining scenarios rather than just fucking with him out of any maliciousness, Bluespike being a notable exception. Chris's life was more like a weird reality show and anyone involved also got a chance to become an "actor" in what was one of the most widely followed lolcows of the late 2000s.
I agree with your point. Wise for all intents and purposes was a meaner, cruder, and vile upgrade to BlueSpike. When Chris didn't have those trolls vetting every shithead that tried to contact him, Wise caught on pretty quickly. I have to give him props: he was able to keep manipulating Chris solo until he sought out Boyd. The moon laser and everything was just icing on top of the cake. That shit was funny. The extortion and everything after? Not funny. Wise wasn't a ween, he was a psychopath.
What is the purpose of the Watchmen if they do not gatekeep who contacts Chris then? The GuardDogs at least had a purpose in protecting Chris from Idea Guys 2.0. The emergence of Praetor LLC clearly shows that the gates that Wise and Boyd opened are not closed and if the Watchmen do not protect Chris from future Wise's and Boyd's then they have no purpose except to siphon information from Chris to KF without any moral fortitude as Null and Marvin have shown. I'm not entirely clear on the Watchmen myself so I may have made some arguments without proof, but from my preliminary readings of the CWCwiki, it seems like that to me at least. The Watchmen are no exception. But they also laid all their cards down and don't gatekeep content or anyone wishing to contact Chris. Because at this point.... Why? Chris isn't funny anymore. Without PVCC monitoring him day and night, he's more depressing than anything else. It's like pissing in an ocean of piss- what more can people do to the guy at this point that life hasn't already done?
Honestly I find the CWCwiki page on weens utterly hilarious, seeing all the ways they have tried a million times to start the next saga and fail is just funny to me and I'm not sure why.Yes, I agree that plays a slight part but its something more than that I think. Read the CWCki more. Every one of your theories and "conjectures" are answered there. The one thing I will say though is that you have to take into account how old Bluespike was during that incident. He was 13. A middle schooler. He was just an immature kid barely out of his pre-teens. I could give him a pass on the shit he did close to 15 years ago because he's pretty much not that same person anymore. Wise though? Wise was 24 at the time of the IG saga. Old enough to know what he was doing was fucked up. Old enough to where he should've been focusing on an education or a career. Old enough so that the escapades of a middle aged autistic tranny shouldn't be the bread and butter of his daily life. He was a grown ass man who is probably just as pathetic as Chris and now he's forever immortalized as "that faggot loser weeb that made an ugly tranny shit all over the floor because why not". All of his personal info is out there. There's no way he'll be able to keep a job without it coming back to bite him in the ass.Thank you for this post. It has helped me think about a few things.
While I agree that Wise and Boyd cannot be classified entirely as weens the fact that, as you mention, Wise bought something from Chris may be enough to put him in that category although this is just my theory at this point (Thank you for pointing out that Wise may have bought something from Chris, this was not known to me). This buying of an item must have allowed some sort of in, where Wise and later Wise and Boyd where they were able to hijack Chris to the point of affecting him like they did. My personal theory is that there must have been a trial run led by Wise through the use of a personal that enabled him to identify how to adequately get in on Chris. This is just conjecture, I realize.
Thank you for this information, I had suspected that Chris was interacting with Trolls who were not given their own Sagas and may have been passed over. Would you have any information on their numbers? Obviously, their identities are/could not have been known but if we take BlueSpike as an outlier of trolls at that time, this may indeed indicate that malicious trolls were already present but may have had no discernable influence. What BlueSpike showed, at least in theory, is that you could make Chris shove his medallion his ass and maybe they could do more. This may have let the flood gates open though it would take more years to properly see the emergence of trolls such as Wise to take root. Although I believe Wise may not have been present at this early stage.
