All this time discussing how the LGB doesn't really fit with the T, wondering how we got a gender identity shoved in with the sexual orientations, and the answer was right in front of my face after all!!
In the late 1980's, when Blanchard was first coining the term 'autogynophilia' he absolutely considered it to be both a paraphilia and a sexual orientation. (along with Pedophilia and Beastiality) The classification was literally Gay men attracted to men, Lesbian women attracted to women, Bisexual women and men attracted to both women and men, and then, on the end, Autogynophilic men attracted to themselves as women.
It's only recently that Trans activists have flatly denied any type of sexual orientation/sexual arousal associated with being transgender (transsexual, tranvestitic)
They are trying to erase the paraphilia, and in doing so, they are erasing any reason for them to be included in the LGB.

Troonery and the way middle class to upper middle class people act go hand in hand, I don't know if Im crazy for noticing this or if others have the same experience.
I swear when it comes to any well off person who comes from a well off family, the way they act is obnoxious. It's full of subtle brags about their personal life, histrionic behavior, and overall there is no connection with these people- I barely see them connected with each other in their friend group without it being just a bunch of people looking up to one person in a group as the unofficial leader as they have the most to show off.

I know this isnt with all middle class to upper class people, but for me I see it for most of them. Their friendships are so fake, mainly in regards to women.

It reminds me why theres is a connection between gender shit and the upper class as these people tend to be exclusively die hard progressives the most. You wont see these types of people in low income areas unless its in the city in the least violent areas, a place they were born into. Even when it comes to low income, the people I see who fall for all this end up belonging to a friendgroup where the others are middle to upper class and thus act like how I mentioned earlier where they look up to that one person. What makes it all more sad is hoe they are usually treated as opposed to the others, they are like the toiken friend. The bottom of the hierachy. The ultimate yesman whos the most vulernable.

These people have no personality outside of superficial things and mainstream interests. Its really all one bug circlejerk. They're so annoying irl.

The term you are looking for is 'status competition'.

Sounds like they're insecure about their status, to the point it's generating enough anxiety that they have to act out in an attempt to resolve it. Anxious and insecure people tend to be terrible people to be around; they become emotional black holes, who have to constantly assert and reinforce their social status in order to validate their projected self image and secure their fragile self esteem.

This is probably why they feel like troons to you. It's the same underlying behaviours, just with a different initial cause.

A lot of these people have really distant parents because everything about their upbringing was outsourced. Nannies, tutors, being in school, at home but on the computer/in front of T.V. ... I think their attachment "style" is fucked up because of this, it's why they have touches of BPD (which is ultimately an attachment disorder per my understanding).

yeah I know people like to exaggerate how abusive their parents were but I've met a lot of trans people that had dysfunctional parents in the background, even if it's not a history of getting beat with jumper cables or whatever.

Therapy is overrated and therapists have been a major party in pushing transitioning as a solution for traumatized men and women. As long as the field attracts people with savior complexes, therapy will be about around finding easy "quick fix" solutions, at the cost of creating fake problems for these solutions to exist.
I lost faith in therapy when the worst person I know (narcissist poly-troon menace to society) became a couples counselor.

There’s more to BPD than just an attachment disorder, it also requires elements of poor emotional regulation, and more diffuse things like ”no direction in life”.

Poor upbringing can absolutely contribute to developing BPD, but it takes more than being raised by nannies and watching TV.

Not sure where to put this. I love Louise Perry.

Transgenderism is Over

There’s a famous scene in The Devil Wears Prada in which fashion editor Miranda Priestly (based on Anna Wintour) describes the workings of the fashion industry to her hapless PA:

You think this has nothing to do with you. You go to your closet, and you select… I don’t know, that lumpy blue sweater, for instance, because you’re trying to tell the world that you take yourself too seriously to care about what you put on your back, but what you don’t know is that that sweater is not just blue, it’s not turquoise, it’s not lapis, it’s actually cerulean.

You’re also blithely unaware of the fact that, in 2002, Oscar de la Renta did a collection of cerulean gowns, and then I think it was Yves Saint Laurent, wasn’t it?… who showed cerulean military jackets… And then cerulean quickly showed up in the collections of eight different designers. Then it filtered down through the department stores and then trickled on down into some tragic casual corner where you, no doubt, fished it out of some clearance bin.

However, that blue represents millions of dollars of countless jobs, and it’s sort of comical how you think that you’ve made a choice that exempts you from the fashion industry when, in fact, you’re wearing a sweater that was selected for you by the people in this room.

I contend that political fashions operate in a very similar way to clothing fashions. The ‘cerulean sweater monologue’ forgets the role of material factors in determining fashion trends (the move towards professionals working from home, for instance, has affected the market for formal workwear). But it identifies something important: the way that trends slowly trickle down from elites to everyone else.

Marketing experts group consumers into five categories:

Innovators

Early Adopters

Early Majority

Late Majority

Laggards

Winning over the innovators is a big deal for anyone wanting to flog a product, because this group has power over the majority. It’s a subtle kind of power, and it’s disproportionately possessed by women – hot women, in particular. That’s how social media influencers make a living: not only are they good looking (which automatically confers status on women), they also possess this mysterious talent for identifying what’s in and what’s out – a kind of enhanced sensitivity to social signals.

I’m not an innovator, but I do tend to be an early adopter. I’ll often decide – apparently spontaneously – that I like a particular piece of clothing, or a piece of decor, only to read a few months later that this is an up and coming trend. When I was younger, and had a lot more time on my hands, I used to spend hours and hours sewing my own clothes or trawling through charity shops in order to cheaply create a particular look that I’d decided was cool. Perhaps I’d seen a really hot woman wearing something similar in central London and subconsciously bookmarked this as a style to experiment with. I honestly don’t remember ever deliberately imitating the innovators, but I suppose I must have been influenced by them, because I’d then watch as “my” cool new thing moved from cool, to mainstream, to dated, and finally to uncool over the course of several years. Such is the way with memes.

Political trends are exactly the same. Which is why the news that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has removed her pronouns from her Twitter bio is worth paying attention to.

Newsweek is treating it like a breaking news story, leading with the headline “AOC Removes Pronouns From X Bio: What We Know.” It seems that she quietly changed her bio back in May of this year, but the change has only recently attracted interest because some Democrats are starting to acknowledge that their commitment to transgenderism may have hurt them at the polls (“Kamala is for they/them. President Trump is for you” was a fantastic slogan, after all).

AOC isn’t a political innovator, or even an early adopter. But I think she’s instinctively in the ‘early majority’ category, and – by virtue of being a hot woman – her influence over the fashion cascade is particularly powerful. If she is sensing a change in the political winds, that means that a lot of other people are about to sense the same thing. Not – crucially! – because transgenderism is true or false, harmful or benign, but because it is a political trend that is now reaching the end of its lifecycle. It doesn’t matter if it’s true. It has never mattered if it’s true. Expressing allegiance to this bizarre ideology has always been about social status, which is why it will be disastrous when the hot women abandon it once and for all.

The lifecycle of the trans meme went something like this. It originated in universities, with Judith Butler’s 1990 book Gender Trouble typically credited as the foundational text. For decades it was a niche preoccupation among a few academics and activists. But by the time I started my undergraduate degree in 2013, transgender ideology was being taught as fact in gender studies departments. This was the equivalent of cerulean being featured in collections by Oscar de la Renta and Yves Saint Laurent. The elite innovators within academia had determined that this was high status, and their students had become early adopters. (Not me, for the record – I thought it was bogus from the off!)

Transgenderism hit the early mainstream in 2014, when Time magazine announced the “transgender tipping point.” 2014 to 2019 saw the most intense period of anti-TERF persecution, particularly within academia and the media. People who are mostly oblivious to the preoccupations of political activists slowly became aware that this was something they were supposed to care about. After 2020, it became common to see the progress pride flag in provincial bookshops or outside suburban churches. Civil servants and police officers began to include their pronouns in their email signatures. ”It filtered down through the department stores” as Miranda Priestly would say, “and then trickled on down into some tragic casual corner where you, no doubt, fished it out of some clearance bin.” Transgenderism became uncool.

When The New York Times published this sympathetic piece about the Cass Review in May of this year – roughly the same time that AOC changed her Twitter bio – it became clear to me, and to many other people, that the progressive elites were starting the process of disassociating themselves from a movement that had become a political liability.

Their embrace of transgenderism was never going to last. The ideology always leant too heavily on obviously false ideas, demanding that adherents reject the truth of their own eyes. And the movement itself was made up of a combination of fetishists and the mentally ill, which doesn’t make for a happy political coalition. In the early days, it was edgy and cool, and seemed to fit with some bigger political ideas about freedom and anti-traditionalism, which made it appealing to progressives. But, in the end, it was the equivalent of a brief and embarrassing fashion trend – the sort that makes early adopters cringe at old photos of ourselves.

Except that, unlike a silly fashion trend, the trans movement inflicted a terrible human cost. The people who medically transitioned – many of them very vulnerable young women – will be permanently disfigured, and will probably not make old bones. Right now, most of them are completely unaware that they’re about to be abandoned by their progressive allies. It could take years for the news of the movement’s demise to filter out to the late mainstream and to the laggards, by which time hot women like AOC will have moved on to some other trend, and there will be no apology forthcoming. The victims of transgenderism will never be healed, they’ll just be forgotten.

From the comments:

"Won’t go into detail because I think this might technically be a crime, but: I know or know of multiple self-described liberal/Democratic people who are in positions of hiring, either as recruiters or senior managers etc, different industries, who have told me privately they immediately throw away resumes that have pronouns listed."

I gotta thank troons for getting me out of the furry fandom and really motivating me to stay away from porn.
Then again, I never was into that side of the fandom much until the late stages of porn addiction- but I guess you could say I was still a "furry" for years as I started watching cute little animation memes of em back in 2009, and used to be one of those scene /emo kids. This was all back when the internet was innocent. Sure, there were porn, but it was kept separate from places like DeviantART. Not even the MSpaint shitty fetish drawings were common as far I can remember. But since the internet is ruled by an algorithm and porn is so biologically addicting, I feel like thats why it is seen almost everywhere. There is hardcore porn on DA now too.

The furry fandom is disgusting. I dont even find the suits cute anymore, not when it comes to westernized settings. The people I knew who trooned out would later become furries too, all of them, despite making fun of me in the past for being one back when my interest was non sexual- their interest? Horrible, disgusting gooner shit where I legitimately believe they are into zoophilia, I wouldnt be surprised if they got into zoophilia as thats one of the main paraphilias that porn addiction induces in people next to tranny shit and pedophilia. Its one big open secret. But what makes furries so horrifying is how common zoo shit is, how normalized the act of sexualiizing an anthro is. If you think about it, its fucking weird man. That character is 90% an animal in appearance. Forget the feral vs anthro debate, both are weird. I can understand the cognitive dissonance, especially if you suck at drawing humans, but man its still sus.

Its also just disingenuous how these fucks take over spaces they shat on others over, calling them degenerates in the past, but as soon as it gets popular then suddenly theyre interested in it and suddenly they arent a degenerate freak despite what they said about others their whole life. Ohh, its (D)ifferent when you do it. When you like it, its cool and you are counter culture even though you started liking it as soon as it become mainstream. Gotcha. Its even more crazy when you realize these people take it to the extreme much more than the average person in the end, completely ruining it. I believe there was some pushback in the fandom early on when it come to its depravity, now the depravity is applauded and seen as "sex postive". Nothing quite says sex positivity like dog dicks, obese trannies, and AIDs.

I still like drawing cute little sparkledogs and cats and such but these people really tainted everything for me, as they are so extreme that they turned basically everything into a sex pit of depravity. Anything wholesome and innocent, they destroy it. I hate porn. Its gotten to a point where I turned it into a game where Id enter in basic keywords in a search engine and see what degenerate shit it shows me in the videos tab, you'd be suprised. Same with DA, type keywords and see what horrors come up.
Maybe Elliott Rodger was right, maybe getting rid of sex would've been a good thing.

Also it reminds me of how troons love to complain about how most detransitoners are women- yeah man, because most TiMs are porn addicts, 95% of them even the HSTS ones. Men aren't gonna be open about how much of degenerate they were and how that led to them castrating themselves using E and bottom surgery, they're not gonna want to admit to jacking it to your average troon porn star, have you seen them? Theyre hideous, let alone the average Twitter ones with a small following. yet porn addicts find it hot due to how deep they are into their addiction. No man is gonna wanna admit they jacked off to some crusty fat troon with fried hair whos balding that posts themselves in certain angles to make it seem like theyre not, do you see most men owning up to getting with actual women whos as crusty? Porn addiction is a bitch that barely few wanna open up about due to shame, but adding self induced gyno, self induced penile shrinkage, and potential castration into the mix and you got yourself the 41% stastitic.

That's not really helping with the ones who just really think they are women, does it? Just filters the unsophisticated ones.
This was all back when the internet was innocent. Sure, there were porn, but it was kept separate from places like DeviantART. Not even the MSpaint shitty fetish drawings were common as far I can remember.
And wouldn't you know what I just found:
Gurochan is a site that has been active since 2005 and is dedicated to drawing gore-filled content of all kinds. The site has been shut down several times, but is currently part of a family of 3 gore-friendly sites known as G3 and is currently hosted by The Koylma Network as of April 2023. Gurochan also has countless insane pedophiles hiding within it, such as its former owner Kuz On January 29, 2021, the site was taken over by kuz under the domain "gurochan.ga", after the staff found KolymaNET and agreed to use their hosting services, after an internal fight who gave the site to Kaguya.
Shit's always been that way, I stayed away from deviant art when I first found it because there already were these "ms paint" abominations. I was around 15 and thought "Oh, great, something to post art and discuss it, the information super highway is so cool! Everything will be optimistic and great like in star trek!" and then, yeah... internet, teens and holed up, wrinkly old men always were a grim combination. Wallflower-me also assumed that scene kids were so expressive and cool - tho, I didn't like the style and adjunct edginess - that they surely don't have any darker side to them, because they already let it all out through fashion and music.
Was I broadsided as I got older...

Consider this:
I never said those sites didn't exist, but notice how its own separate thing with its name reflecting its content. 4chan existed too and other forums. But the problem now is the existence of social media and the algorithm. Its why porn is bad now more than ever, its for the same reason social media is addicting.

it's smartphone adoption. ease of use. back in the day you needed the equipment and free time, well off teens with educated parents fit that bill for the most parts or adults, who hyper-focused on the internet for some reason or the other - hi, my name's chris hansen - now everyone is online, so everything is larger like the degenerate circle jerks. You see that reflected in the pajeet poo memery, uneducated, wife beating thrid worlders are also online now. People you would've only seen burning plastic off discarded kitchen appliances for scrap metal on national geographic are shit posting with google translate now. sure, these degen groups are also more potent and you could argue that the algo boosts the addictiveness but that's also more of an ease of access thing, not it's own.
It's just easier to consoom overall. It's not just "the algo".
It's still people clicking and prodoocing it. As both may get more and more A.I. driven, I might become open to blame "tha algorithm".

why don't pooners treat T like steroids? they inject it seemingly without direction. That and why don't pooners take steroids in general? Tren... Gear... Then again, I rarely see these people go to the gym. Even the skinny ones don't go to the gym. So much for being an alpha male.

Also theres a lot of trannies now supporting HAES under the guise of "passing". I know when I mentioned the correlation between HAES and troonery, people told me they rarely see it- but the thing is its less direct. Its just the messaging they send. Most troons I see these people lust over are obese and are good at camera angles, ranging from skinnyfat to mega chonker. Look at Jazz. And on the other spectrum, theres the support for anorexic, so if anything troonery supports HAES more than the fat acceptance movement.

Troonery and the way middle class to upper middle class people act go hand in hand, I don't know if Im crazy for noticing this or if others have the same experience.
This is true. The real upper classes don't care about signalling as much, because they know they are rich and to whom they were born, and don't need to prove it to anyone: their status is secure. The bourgeois middle classes are often strivers who seek to be seen as high status as the real upper classes, and it brings a lot of neuroticism with trend-following and such. It led to things like U and non-U English, which is essentially middle classes adopting fancy foreignisms, usually French words, whilst the upper classes retained the original Anglo terms that the lower classes also used (for example, pardon instead of what, settee and couch instead of sofa, and serviette instead of napkin).

It's almost a narcissistic control over how other people see you and breeds inauthenticity and insincerity. They develop these big obsessions over having to be validated at every step of an interaction. They want to 'pass' as being better than they were born. Wow, they really are like trannies.

The biggest midwit tell is people accusing rich guys like musk of "toning" it down to woo the lower classes and appear like hicks, when that's really just what they are, big brain ones with big ass, traceable family trees who have been at it over generations.
The kinds of people who flip out about cursing, they're the biggest strifers and copers.

Sounds like a tumorous growth of the overpopulation meme.
Yes, don't get smart. We have no use for you. Go work the fields right after grade school.
Not like a harward educated carpenter would still be more of a power house than a high school drop out, crack addicted one. But yeah, that's how they really play their power games, not by flexing gold chains and driving around the block in low riders, but by poisoning the well like that. They're smart, after all.

The carpenter who started working directly after high school rather than spending five years at university will have five more years of experience, and instead of five years worth of debt, five years worth of salary.

Attending university is silly if you're not realistically likely to ever use your degree, and there are a bunch of fields of study that are relatively popular to study (because they can be genuinely interesting), but where the only jobs, really, are in becoming a teacher of this same field of study. Fine arts, philosophy, ethnic studies, anthropology, religious studies, creative writing, environmental science (actually has some well-paid positions, but you'd be just as qualified, and more employable, if you'd studied environmental law instead), music performance, history...

It gets back to the idea of frustrated status. When you have a large population of aspiring elites who believe they deserve higher status but are frustrated, they turn against the system and try to destroy it. Think of all the _____ studies majors coming out of college and finding no jobs in the 2010s. Even today, about half of all college graduates are underemployed. If you busted your butt to get into a top-tier school and studied hard for four years, during which everyone told you how smart and enlightened you were, and then the only job you could get was waiting tables, you'd be pissed off too.

So the _____ studies majors invented a new industry designed to destabilize society: DEI.
