Why would anyone want to marry someone who isn't their friend? That's like getting emotionally cucked, because you're not having relations with your partner, but in an emotional sense instead of a sexual one.

...more a category, but I never like those types of posts that have someone say something false (including 'sharks are smooth', 'th is "fussenpepper" in Dutch', 'Private is trans', and 'pilots use revolvers when they land') then many others repea the lie to anyone who says otherwise. That is not funny at all to me, but rather makes me mad. The whole thing has that feeling of gaslighting, Kafkatraps, and just plain exceptionalism.

Someone in Tumblr said tha type of humour only works in Tumblr since Reddit would instead have Redditors go 'Um, actually'.
I wonder what would happen if someone tries that 'sharks are smooth' trick in The Farms.

"um, actually" posts do appear once in a while. Take this one where someone goes "hey this video isn't cute that's a dangerous wild animal being treated like a housecat."

Calling back to my previous post here, I remembered another one of those 'sharks are smooth'-style pos threads in Tumblr. What was remarkable is that someon ended up responding with a text wall about how tha type of thread is a form of misinformation from Russian bots. That was not a Gish Gallop; the one who posted the text wall was completely serious. The one who started the thread just went 'uh wut'.

At least we now have a solution.
