What would be reality is an X account dedicated to a specific piece of media suddenly screaming about Nazis and Palestine, whereas the Tumblr account is just an æsthetic-esque blog that is actually a personal blog.
Then again, even if you ignore the massively left-wing tendency of Tumblr, you can block tags and posts through XKit.

You don't even need xkit anymore, tumblr's built-in tag blocking is GREAT. It even blocks untagged reblogs.

I swear on my life, I've never interacted with any posts relating to any of these.

The way communities are recommended is pretty unclear. I think everyone's getting things they're not interested in recommended to them.

I'm almost positive it recommends communities by aggregating all the communities your mutuals are in and giving you like 3 of the top 6 at random. I mostly follow people engaged with media preservation and old internet stuff and get the same couple groups recommended over and over again with the odd one being for a TV show I don't watch that a bunch of my mutuals do.

Given that it's Tumblr I assume it doesn't do the facebook thing of directly naming which people are in which group to prevent people being outed as being into monsterfucking or similar.
