Crazed furfag stalker who harassed V/A of a character due to autism plus general sperging by manchildren resulted in the creators just saying "fuck these losers" and leaving to write Animaniacs.
It, besides actively insulting that sort of idiocy ala the Rick and Morty creators, are really some of the better options when dealing with such a shit tier fanbase.

I just heard about that whole SU fandom shitstorm the other day and oh man, I just don't wanna live on this planet anymore. Please throw me at Venus so I can die in a fiery maelstrom of death.
I used to be a huge fan of the show, it was so awesome! I never participated in the fandom but I loved seeing all the fantastic art and reading all the different theories people had. I didn't realize the fandom was shit until shortly after the Keystone Motel incident...
Anyway, this hateful psychotic happening just, it's tarnished my love for the show. I know it's dumb to let the fandom affect how I feel about it this much, but it's just too much :/
I hope they end the show soon, but hopefully put up one more episode with a huge cliffhanger and then maybe have a PSA at the end of the episode with Rebecca Sugar explaining why they're ending it.

A part of me wants this, but there will probably be endless petitions to bring it back. Not to mention all the harassment that the former crew could receive.

This is what drives me the most crazy about this whole Steven Universe fiasco. A girl with apparent mental issues tries to kill herself and creators, noticing what caused this brouhaha, told them that they were being drama queens and they they shouldn't get so worked up about what people choose to draw. Then they have to act like they were the REAL victims in all of this. Instead of, y'know, the girl that tried to commit suicide over their bullshit.
By the way they're whining, you think every character on the show suddenly became white and thin with no explanation.
