1. They're an abuse victim (frankly, if you're reaching hard enough, von Karma seems more like an abuser than a victim of abuse...)
2. They're autistic. (Which von Karma isn't)
3. They've got ocpd (Again, von Karma doesn't have that mental illness either.)
4. Because they like Ace Attorney oh so much. Yes. I guess I must be Apollokin because I enjoy the Ace Attorney series too.
5. They use it as an escape method from real life, which really isn't all that healthy.

Jesus Christ, so much autism here. My favorite is the alter named Sadie who's also fictionkin of a random Steven Universe character who happens to share her name. The two don't even look alike (the character on the show is a short, chubby blonde girl, as opposed to the pink-haired animu shit you see here). And the fact that her "alters" also have there own "kintypes" is just ridiculous. The cherry on top of the batshit sundae is the random cat that just sort of exists in her "headspace" and doesn't do anything.
