I found a fictionkin who is kin with characters from a story they wrote themselves. Has anyone else seen that happen before?

Also the about page in an archive because it's too long to screenshot it all. I don't know why it strikes me, it's just very...bizarre.

It's Always Sunny In Philedelphia trans headcanons? Really? I would've expected that show to be too ~problematic for tumblr.

It's Always Sunny is decently popular on tumblr. Not as big as something like Hannibal, but probably on par with something like Archer.
This side of tumblr's "thing" is "we can watch problematic things as long as we recognize that they're problematic".

The amount of ignorance on display here is astounding. Just as astounding: the fact that it has over 18,000 notes.

So apparently, mental health facility where nobody has weapons = real life situations on the streets. Where people could have any conceivable sort of weapon and be hopped up on amphetamines and a cop has to deal with them all while well aware of the fact that he can lose his life or even see other innocent people die.

Dealing with a mentally ill person and dealing with a hardened criminal (who also may or may not be mentally ill) are not the same things.
These kids may be able to hit hard, but they don't have a gun, or a knife, nor are they on hard drugs. The police have to deal with these things. The police see a 21 year old MAN (not "boys" 21 is not a fucking child) doing home run swings at themselves or civilians as a threat. Because he is, he is a threat to his own safety and the safety of people around him and he needs to be dealt with. The police are authorized to use force for a reason you idiot.
Of course I do not support police brutality. But tazing someone who is armed and dangerous and tazing someone who is cooperating are the same thing.

It's funny how Tumblrinas are the first one to cry about mental illnesses, everyday oppression and how everyone should accommodate them while at the same time criticizing people who have been formed and know much more about their jobs than them. When they're not just telling half of the world population (dirty dang males) are lowlives.

It honestly blows my mind that there are real life people in this world who want to experience mental illness. They want to want to kill themselves. They yearn to be thought of as needy and as f'ed-up. They crave being dismissed as lesser people. They want to have trouble talking to people their own age, or see things which aren't there, or not leave their beds for months. I can't believe these people exist.

It's like those pretentious people in English/Literature classes who take a piece of literature (classic or not), and overanalyze it to the point where they come to some extremely ridiculous conclusions about what random objects in a story actually mean and forcing abstract symbolism onto said objects, when in truth it's like Freud said, "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar".

I love IASIP but the fandom on Tumblr has got to be one of the most cringe inducing things I ever seen. I think a good portion of it is because there is a lot of gay subtext between Mac and Dennis, but it's usually played for laughs instead of ~*representation. Not to mention that Dennis is a complete sociopath and heavily implied rapist who is very emotionally abusive towards Mac and Mac himself is honestly not much better. Dennis is also a closeted bisexual (According one of the producers who also happens to be the actor who plays him), Charlie is somewhat implied to be asexual, and Mac is a closeted gay man (Although until very recently he showed some interest in women). Because of this, I think the fandom on Tumblr thinks this show is super progressive for *~queer representation~*, even though practically everyone on that show is an awful piece of shit and not the "precious cinnamon rolls" that Tumblrinas see them as.

The only trans character on that show is Carmen, and she's one of the very few people on that show who is shown to be a decent and kind person. You think that would be enough for those people but nope.

I'm just surprised people that there are people who think IASIP is full of positive representation. I love the show, but every character is an irredeemable asshole, except maybe Charlie who's too dumb to intentionally be an asshole.

I mean, Tumblr thinks a man in a dress is hyper transphobic [ see the Steven Universe / Uncle Grandpa hullabaloo], yet this show with 4 men who treat women like shit, Dennis who is a very clear predator [with a system in place to emotionally abuse them until he can have sex with them anytime he wants], and an episode where they literally had a guy in black face is apparently full of positive representation?

Why can't they leave good TV shows alone?

Slight OT powerleveling, but yeah, it does. Some manipulative bastard I used to be friends with started cutting himself because I dared to have friends besides him. Needless to say, didn't need that shit in my life and cut him out immediately, got stalked months on end, couldn't even make new blogs under new aliases because he stalked my friends to find me so I just went back to my main and just stuck it out.

So now that I'm done fucking powerleveling I suppose I should drop in some content just to make this post worth it.
