We have a generation that doesn't understand what it means to like/enjoy something. Just that. They have to identify with anything or it upsets them.
I wonder if the whole PC thing is a small part of this. I mean they start in kindergarten telling kids they have to identify with everybody or they're bigots, and by the time they are in their melodramatic teen years it's metastized into this insanity.
