The worst part is how people are defending this. They're all "the person who posts this stuff is really nice! Just check out her blog! She's a good person!" Like that somehow justifies making audio posts of a video game character getting fucked while doing a bad cr1tikal impersonation.

I mean, they might be nice and all, but this is still fucking stupid and weird.

Oh yes, besides the erotic knifeplay audio log they made about a cartoon skeleton, they're pretty normal.
This be some "furries aren't really weird" logic up in here.

Why does Tumblr think it's cute to write an entire text post in the tags? Just write a goshdarn text post.
Sometimes if you respond to the actual post some people get really upset about it and complain about people 'writing unfunny shit' on their posts. idk why people post in the tags of their own shit, maybe to make it seem like they tagged it?

No wonder Toby Fox deleted his tumblr (I think anyway).

By the way are there tumblrites claiming Undertale is their game like they did with Steven Universe yet?

I do it because I feel like it's muttering something as an afterthought, but then again I also like to use italics for emphasis and stuff.

That ain't no afterthought, though.

Furries seem so tame in comparison to the shit we find.

No, it's not, and no it fucking doesn't.
See, this is a really good rubric for discerning whether or not the tumblr post you're reading is written by someone who is full of shit.
If you had ever actually experienced abuse or trauma or rape or any of the myriad of things that tumblrites claim to have been the victims of, you'd know that some fucking fanfiction is not going to make it better. Sure, you can escape for a few hours into a book you love or a tv show or even a good album, but at the end of the day, you will still have to crawl back out from under that security blanket and on some bad days, the very first thought you're gonna think once you've unplugged is, "holy shit, I was raped." And then you have to pull yourself together and function as a human being because there is literally no alternative.

The books and movies and music you love can be great for escapism. But it can't stop if you've the inclination to self harm. It feeds more into mental illness than it helps it because there is an addictive quality to being able to fuck off from your own issues for a while.

That is why not all "coping mechanisms" are healthy. Because it is the opposite of coping. You are not handling your problems, you are running away from them, and you can't do it forever. It'll be far too fucking late by the time these kids figure that out, assuming of course that they aren't just bullshitting for oppression points.

Yeeeahhh... the 'fictional character/fandom" thing is great for escapism and can be beneficial when used with therapy but the whole idea is to not use it as a crutch or as a way to avoid coping indefinitely. Sometimes, unhealthy coping mechanisms are all you have but let's just say I don't believe middle class tumbrlites don't have access to mental health care and have to resort to last ditch methods to deal with mental illness.

On top of that, as supportive and welcoming as fandom likes to say it is, it's actually a toxic and hostile space full of spergs. I can't tell you how many people I've known who put on their "I'm here for everyone!" face to the public then log out and back stab every last one of their friends on anon communities. It's not a healthy space to recover from trauma.

If anyone is going to have to given the boring label, it should be handed to the person who writes walls of text about the artistic choices of artists who don't give a damn about their insignificant opinion in the first place. Also, in reference to their sidebar, how the fuck can someone be both bisexual and asexual?
they are saying they are attracted to both genders but not in a sexual way or something like that
