Also, lulz at the flannel being offensive/appropriation of culture to lesbians. When grunge hit feral inbred town I grew up in, the only change in wearing flannel shirts was wearing them out in public. The only difference up until then was that flannel was considered both very comfortable in private and embarrassingly bogan when worn in public. It was great when it became socially acceptable. Flannels were great at the beginning of spring and at the end of autumn. They were light and warm, and easy to stash away when the day warmed up.

Out of curiosity, if flannel shirts are so problematic, where does that leave flannel sheets?

Not necessarily.

I've heard of and dealt first hand with a fair amount of shady doctors. They are vastly outnumbered by the ones who are at the least professional, but even outnumbered there's still quite a few manky bastards out there. Young people who have only just been able to visit a doctor without having a guardian take them to a surgery are particularly vulnerable, and/or adults with learning impediments. If a doctor gets pissed off about someone insisting on a chaperone, it's a combination of not getting their way and seeing how far they can push potential victims without the victims reporting or refusing to go back to them.

It happens. I'm not saying that this particular story is true, but I'm not saying it's false either. Let's just say that one of my most frightening experiences was with a small town doctor that was worshiped by pretty much the entire population.

No no, they can't say "homophobic" because that would acknowledge gay men, who, by the sheer arrogance of simply being men, are evil and horrible creatures. Same bullshit as saying "transmisogyny" when talking about transphobia so as to avoid acknowledging trans men.
