This cry typing shit really fucking amuses me. I've typed whilst crying and although I'll make one or two mistakes - a slip of the finger hear, a mistype there - it's never on this level. This is like the kid's grabbed their keyboard and smushed it across their fat little face. Looks more like drunk typing than anything - and to have a tw for it? Jeez, kid, get outta ya hugbox.

Fucking tws for mothers and grounding, what are you seven?

The same person I posted before also has a before you follow, because of course they do...

Highlights:
  • Being "anti-otherkin" is top of a "things that suck" list that also includes actual racism, sexism, homophobia etc.
  • Apparently not liking mages in a fictional game is just as bad as being into incest and pedophilia (unless it's a coping mechanism!!1!)
It turns out I might have actually met this person at one point through a mutual friend in the RP community, but I barely recognised them due to all... this. I do feel a little bad making fun of them-

- sorry, "wire"- but Goddamn. *sigh*
Do not follow if you're anti-mage in DA? Are you kidding me? An opinion so innocuous that it has to be included? I just don't understand.

Also I can't believe I just saw a post where someone is fictionkin Thane Krios. Great, a character I love ruined by otherkin.

I love how "do not follow me if you are racist/sexist/homophobic" is a thing. Like there are very few people on this planet that would actively label themselves with these labels because they are demeaning by nature. By that logic just about anyone could follow and just say "well I don't think I'm a racist".

Lol, wat?
Edit: Lol wat? 2: straight to video

I can't stand female fans who act like all fan service that isn't from men is pure.

This just in, only women can write about women. JK Rowling shouldn't have written about magic because she's a filthy fuckin' muggle.

Edit to avoid double post - new meme only for 'neuroatypical' people (because only mentally ill people have impulses and intrusive thoughts).

Yeah, all female writers are good; just look at E.L. James!

Tumblr's a fucking gold mine today and it's not even 1pm.

Yes because your skin colour will protect you from sunburns. Enjoy your cancer, bro.

This mentality is not only stupid, but dangerous because being dark skinned doesn't give you immunity from skin cancer.

Where did this "fact" even come from?
I saw the same one once except it was about Mozart. Basically, they just take an old-timey portrait of some black guy and claim that it was the TRUE and HONEST [famous person]. It's easier to do that instead of, you know, finding things that black people have created or did and celebrating those.

That always confused me, too. In my opinion, it doesn't make any sense that someone who did self-identify that way would then be conscientious enough to politely go out of their way for people who publicly disagreed with them. It just shows how most of these people don't have any real concept of how conflict works and think the best option is just to avoid it completely, even when they're on an almost completely open and uncontrolled place like tumblr.
They'll go on and on about their "safe space" and how tumblr helps them so much, but what they really want is to just have all their bad habits- physical and psychological- unquestioned, and even reinforced. But with SJW culture in particular, this seems to reach a point where they're so immersed in it that they feel they can't easily get out, lest their new support system/QPPs (lol) turn on them and publicly hang them for not agreeing with everything any more.
It's honestly really creepy... and sad, in a way. Also funny tho, because of all the weird cults they had to pick it had to be the one where you get upset because people won't acknowledge you're L from Death Note and five different Homestuck characters. :P

Beethoven was German, his father was Belgian, he was trained by Gottlob Neefe (a German opera composer). Amazing how facts and history don't figure much into the Tumblr hive mind...
Thinking is for the oppressive class, obviously. Beethoven was black, you can charge your phone by shoving a fork into an electrical outlet, and you can get infinite chocolate by cutting it a certain way. Tumblr reality is exciting.

This was the first I've ever heard the theory (but I do remember seeing the Mozart post), so I admit that I looked to see if I could even find portraits of Beethoven with a darker complexion. I found around four, but he still looked like a white guy with a darker complexion. Having connections to the Flemish region doesn't necessarily mean anything unless his genealogy indicates otherwise.
It's interesting how tumblr will talk endlessly about how race is a complex thing, but then make everything literally black and white. You're only a POC if your complexion is dark enough, and white people don't come in any shade that isn't glue or eggshell.

As stupid as it is, at least I can see the concept behind it. I mean, it's impossible and pointless to worry about whoever is following is racist or whatever, but I get it. It's a futile effort to get people you don't want following you.

What I don't get, however, is telling people not to follow you over a fictional decision you made in a video game. Just how far is your head up your ass to believe that that has any sort of relevance in any human relationship in the real world?

I'm sure this isn't helpful or encouraging at all, but elsewhere on their page they say they literally identify as Anders (among many Bioware characters, lol), so for them I'm sure the struggle is all too real. :'(

While I'm here; some gems from a person who used to follow me, for some reason. Most of their blog is stuff like this:
EgXagR1.png

Though they also occasionally post things akin to this variation on the classic "like my post if"...

(If you ask me, liking that post is exactly the sort of thing a spy would do...)

Figured I'd post the rest of that headmates page, because I just can't make this shit up.

It's actually changed since yesterday when I first capped it. Solas wasn't there, and Justice (another "fictive") was.

It's so thoughtful of each of the headmates to pop out and type up a short bio for the convenience of random strangers on the internet! I also like how all of these totally real and distinct personalities have all the exact same typing and grammar habits... seems legit. ;)

Always makes me suspicious when one of their 'headmates' is a minor. I've seen too many people use that as an excuse to date teenagers on tumblr, because teenagers are impressionable.
