They literally look nothing alike. Aside from having different skin colors and hair texture and style, Moana also has thicker brows, smaller eyes, a wider and flatter nose, a wider and bigger mouth, and a smaller and less pointed chin than Rapunzel. Any "resemblance" is mostly like due to the art style.
It's like when Princess and the Frog came out and these same people were saying how much Tiana looked like a Belle clone, even though those two characters didn't look anything alike either. These people are idiots.
They also hated how Tiana turned into an animal for a chunk of the story and thought that was racist.
They whined about the fact that Emperor Kuzco from The Emperor's New Groove was a llama during most of the film, because it was the equivalent of calling pee-oh-sees animals or some shit. They are really reaching for things to be mad about.
The only way to make them truly happy would be to have a disabled, fat, trans woman of color in front of a blank background singing about how much she loves herself and hates the patriarchy for two hours. You give these people non-white characters, and somehow they're just not happy...
"I match your imaginary criteria much better than the actual one!"

I have never heard of anyone going as an asylum patient for halloween
Eh, it's much easier to just put a sign with "NO RETARDS PLEASE & THANK YOU" in your front lawn

BTW I'm kinda shocked that there aren't a bunch of posts about cultural appropriation. Usually tumblr flips their shit over it during Halloween.
A grab-bag of fat acceptance and Halloween PSAs.

I have an embarrassing knowledge of cartoons, therefore I am autistic therefore I can claim oppression! Score!"I match your imaginary criteria much better than the actual one!"
Okay, as an autistic I'm adding moral superiority to the criteria; to be autistic, you must feel that you are better than everyone else and that the world should cater to you.

Anyway, a while back some articles surfaced around the spelling of some kid's books. Some parts of tumblr reacted accordingly.
They oppress cats, the black genderqueer asexual demiromantic womyn of the pet world!

Well, looks like the doctors were wrong- Nonverbal Nancy over here isn't autistic after all. She's got no special interests! She doesn't seem to show much interest in anything, in fact, other than perhaps slamming her head against the wall.
