They literally look nothing alike. Aside from having different skin colors and hair texture and style, Moana also has thicker brows, smaller eyes, a wider and flatter nose, a wider and bigger mouth, and a smaller and less pointed chin than Rapunzel. Any "resemblance" is mostly like due to the art style.

It's like when Princess and the Frog came out and these same people were saying how much Tiana looked like a Belle clone, even though those two characters didn't look anything alike either. These people are idiots.

Then they whined about how Tiana turning into a frog was Disney trying to "hide her blackness" or some bullshit.

They whined about the fact that Emperor Kuzco from The Emperor's New Groove was a llama during most of the film, because it was the equivalent of calling pee-oh-sees animals or some shit. They are really reaching for things to be mad about.

They also hated how Tiana turned into an animal for a chunk of the story and thought that was racist.

The film took its motifs from "The Frog Prince." It was inevitable that somebody would turn into a frog. Just because they wanted to have a black heroine doesn't mean they were trying to degrade her.

The fact he was kind of a jerk doesn't really matter, does it? Or the fact that it was a comedy and you shouldn't take this stuff seriously?

Okay, as an autistic I'm adding moral superiority to the criteria; to be autistic, you must feel that you are better than everyone else and that the world should cater to you.
