Tumblr seems to go through phases of what mental illness they all collectively have. I think autism came first (and then never left), then depression/anxiety, and then once people got sick of not being unique enough to get special depression asspats, they moved onto BPD. Eventually they'll get bored of BPD and move onto something else. If the tags are any indicator, the next big one might be Histrionic Personality Disorder. A lot of people in that tag claim to have it in addition to BPD.

I don't know if Histrionic Personality Disorder is the "next big thing" for Tumblr considering personality disorders in general are very popular right now. BPD is definitely the most popular, but HPD and DPD have always been close seconds since self-diagnosers can never have just one personality disorder. Psychosis seems to be the next big not personality disorder related disorder for Tumblrites.

I should probably mention who this lady is (since by now it's kind of obvious) - triplewipe45, who you might remember from the SuperPsyGuy callout campaign. To be honest, I feel kind of bad making fun of her, because on one hand nobody should have to go through abuse like she did... but on the other hand, she perfectly exemplifies everything wrong with Tumblr.

EDIT: Also, I noticed that DJB follows cuteosphere and her other blog dragondicks. Eww.

PsyGuy's a grade-A cunt and all but there's only so much "good" that screaming on your blog daily can do for your health, yknow.

Their society's philosophy is to change the environment to fit their whim. Therefore, a blogger is afraid their content will be controlled by passersby, so they fabricate a mental illness for protection.

I'm actually this surprised to see that irlrilliane or better known as galaxyprincet took so long to be noticed here.

She's so stupid, at first she was just irish. then she became irish+ cherokee. and now she's irish+native+ japanese. Everyone actually remembers when each of these new things showed up and people have asked her about it in the past.
