A former trans friend of mine didn't want to be my friend anymore, after I told him that his "headcanon", that merely made a character he liked trans (or anything else that they totally are not), was silly.
Why even like a character if you are going to change all sorts of things about them? Why not just make a new character to satisfy your needs of a Trans, Poc, demiromantic anusexual version of any character? Will never get that mentality.
I usually like characters for who they are as a person, not for what genetalia they have or identify as.

Because making characters takes time, effort and some creativity.
And we all know they are too lazy and/or don't have imagination for it.

Usually the type of people that make the "uwu trans bby" have a fetish for the thing, but SJWs have to make everything self-righteous, so they pretend to themselves and the rest of the internet that they're doing it for a reason. They just want something to shill to. Which usually, I don't mind what people do behind closed doors as long as they keep it there, but just be honest about it. This is as far from "social justice" as one gets.

Not necessarily... I've seen people who are dating those who are "kin" with things like the ocean or the moon, and they'll make posts like "I can't believe I'm dating the WHOLE moon!"
