Random Tumblr posts

So I found a blog that is pitching a show that reeks of Gen Zed. By some miracle, they have even less content than Hayden Black does. It's not as ridiculous from what I've seen so far, but tumblr's really jumped on them.

there is less content but they seem much more civil and they are trying. They seem like a newbie writer if anything.

The only quote you need to read from that link.

"I came up with the idea about two days ago."

Eh, the guy who's running that blog is probably a teenager, so I doubt it's the cashgrab that Gen Zed is.

Just for a refresher, what's factkin again?

It is a variety of idiot likely to end up with a restraining order against them for harassing an actual person claiming to be them.

It's like the obsessives who have imaginary relationships with celebrities except even more autistic and retarded.

It is one of the main reasons tumblr should be burned to the ground.

Pardon the double post, but I felt this deserved its own.

Apparently #BlackLivesMatter supporters are staging a Tumblr boycott on March 5th, planning to not log in for 24 hours to show the Tumblr staff... something. Apparently it's to punish them for not getting involved in BLM or putting up a little thingie at the top of the website for Black History Month. Never mind that Black History Month-related posts have been showing up on the Tumblr radar or anything. Who gives a fuck about Matthew Henson, anyway?

I'm curious to see how this goes, since last year's BLM protest was the #blackout hashtag, which consisted solely of black Tumblr taking selfies, and Tumblr loves its selfies. But going without Tumblr for a full 24 hours?

I still don't see this accomplishing much of anything and I'm still not sure what the goal even is supposed to be.

That reminds me when my one of my history teachers in college went on this autistic rant about lawns are awful and that everyone that has ones sucks. Even then, I thought he was full of shit. Who the fuck cares what others do with their property? Even if you invoke "But the environment!" argument, it comes off as super self righteous.

Another student asked what people should get instead of lawns (Since we were studying the 1950s and how there was a massive migration to the normally desert Southern California, which created suburbs there). He said catcuses. Yeah no. How boubt you go fuck one instead.

That has to be the height of who gives a shit? Like people haven't wished these idiots would STFU.

Even if their goal is to, I dunno, deprive Tumblr of ad revenue or something for a day I guess? The staff know that these people won't be able to stay away.

Also isn't the whole point of a boycott that the boycott lasts until results are achieved? It's not like after 24 hours of boycotting the Montgomery Bus System they were just like, "Well, we made our point." Clearly these people know they can't go more than a day without their sweet sweet Tumblr.

nothing is ever good enough

I saw a post recently that it wasn't about black history month in general, but simply because tumblr didn't celebrate the anniversary of blackout itself.
Of all the things to complain about.
