Girl my wife knows bitched for her ENTIRE pregnancy that birth was painful and that there was no way of easing the pain. My wife (a nurse) pointed out that she could elect to have an epidural and feel virtually nothing. This, she opined, would remove her 'connection' to the baby. Her birth plan then specified NO pain relief except gas and air despite her doctors advising that, because she's tiny and her baby was big she have a fucking epidural. She decided that it was merely a way for them to get the birth done as quickly as possible and get her out of the delivery room. So she has the baby, tears from stem to stern and ends up having surgery to repair her tattered nether regions. She then had an elective hysterectomy so she couldn't ever get pregnant again and reverted to moaning about the lack of "natural pain relief".
I always find it interesting when radfem ideology lines up with ours (blue is a radfem, brown is a tumblrina)
