Lately, shipping has been hit with the Moral Guardian bug. Hell, there are blogs devoted to demonizing fictional pairings not because it stops an OTP but because fictional pairings encourage rape and pedophilia.

I can understand pointing out pairings that could be abusive or sex that involves young kids and questioning it, but getting upset that one causes "lesbian/ace/aro erasure" is another (when there isn't 100% proof that they are these things) is annoying. And I thought the Davis x Kari vs TK x Kari (Digimon) pairing wars were nuts.
