If it's art type stuff, there's redbubble, which is so simple your mom can use it. The community is comparatively friendly and adult, too.

Plus, unlike dA, you can actually give out your url to normies without them being one click away from revolting fetish porn.

Well, Steven Universe isn't airing as much as it used to on Cartoon Network, not even in reruns (though they are doing a summer thing where they're airing new episodes and old ones, but that's not gonna last). Some are blaming it on the current executive (Christina Miller) wanting to get rid of shows that are too "raunchy" for kids/have overstayed their welcome on the network (i.e., Adventure Time and Regular Show [the latter of which is on its final season]), but I think it's because of fandom stuff like this. They just can't say it because it makes them look bad.

RedBubble is more a marketplace than a social media site though.

That's both the biggest draw and the major problem with Tumblr; it provides such a unique platform for such a wide range of features (for artists, bloggers, fandoms, even fetishists, etc.) that you could literally cultivate your own personal corner for whatever you want, and it's REALLY hard to find a real alternative to it that replicates that very niche-satisfying capability. Web 1.0 had tons of these kinds of things - everyone you knew had a GeoCities, a FreeWebs, MySpace (back when MySpace was popular/decent, anyway), whatever. But in the current web environment only really has Tumblr for that capability, at least from what I've seen.

...I mean, is it any wonder hipsters flocked to this site like a Hitchcockian nightmare?

Except the four nations were based (mostly) on Japan (Fire), a mixture of China and over east Asian countries (Earth), the Inuits (Water), and Tibet and other Buddhist cultures (Air), so it's wrong.

I'm probably wrong on a couple of fronts but I know that none of the nations were based on white people lol

It seems like all of these posts go on and on about how you're white, you have an unfair advantage in life because of it, and you'll never stop perpetuating it.
So why the fuck bother? Even if the system was broken, it'd be in a way that benefited me, and if I can't do anything to unlearn it, why worry?
Their attempt to paint some dystopian picture of the world would probably carry more emotional weight if the scenario they described didn't benefit their audience. Why fight an impossible battle about something that favors you to begin with?

I really wish these morons would go to a country like Japan, Africa or China and see how they're systemically hated for being different than the "POC" majority population.
I wonder how they'd act when they're legally denied housing, jobs, access to stores, etc. and are ACTUALLY oppressed on the basis of race.

Also, if they can't fully unlearn it, why the fuck should they even try in the first place?
