Not necessarily. I know that blog and they've turned into quite the cow. I used to follow them because they posted good memes for working on your characters and writing and references and shit. Then somewhere down they line they went full SJW insane. The post that was the last straw for me involved some anon asking about how to knock someone unconscious (as they wanted to do that to their character) and the blogowner(s?) went off on them like they were actually knocking a real person out.

Ugh this blog. It was a really good resource blog, it really was. Then whoever runs it just went totally nuts. I remember commenting on a post they made answering a user's question on diversity in their stories. Whoever answered it have this immediate yes and posted 6 paragraphs or whatever on the reasons why. After that I just started to ignore them. They don't really think about middle grounds for their answers. It's either yes it no with this faux educated reasoning that can be boiled down to "I don't like this" or "there are other not -ist ways of doing this". Any kind of writing advice from this blog is shit at this point. I'm on mobile so I can't pull out any examples right now.
