the only difference is this is more "dragon wants to fuck the girl." I'm not really paying attention to this show because I'm not a fan of the art style, but while KyoAni tends to fuck around with source material all the time I doubt they'd go so far as to outright change something that explicit.

those posts are still pretty funny but sound like typical salty tumblr weebs who take themselves too seriously. they're probably just mad about the boob closeup in that trailer but will drop that shit fast once the anime comes out in favor of supporting that sweet Real Lesbian Representation.

that's why you never see anyone on Tumblr really criticize shit like Sakura Trick (schoolgirls rolling around and making out while moaning sexually for 5 minutes every episode) or Valkyrie Drive (schoolgirls fight each other using girls who transform into weapons when their partner literally makes them orgasm); sexualizing women is bad, unless they're lesbians, in which case it's awesome. but if you're a boy don't even think about touching these series, because that's just plain old fetishizing.

Though I meant more in a sense of outsiders looking in who weren't aware of the source material and were more focused on the dragon girl with big boobs.

For those who don't know, Jack Frost and Elsa was a crackship that turned very popular in the following years after Frozen's release, even being well known and shipped outside their fandoms (they even sell prints and fanart of them at cons and such).

Though this is kinda ironic considering these are the same girls who then turn around and criticize Ariel for being a dumb slut who left her world for a guy, and praise Moana for having no stinky romance. It's like they lack self-awareness.

I still don't get how people are shocked by GoT. The book is much more grahic. Martin tried to make it as close to medieval Europe as possible. Of course it's violent and has rape.

They didn't. They made it up until the first rape scene, freaked out, and headed for their computer for a night of bitching about it online (or their moms called them to dinner, they ranted about it at the table before their families said, "Fuck it" and left them home alone while the relatively normal members went out to eat, leaving the poor, triggered snowflake to bitch about it online).

I never quite understood what made Tracer's hair all punk-like. Sure it's messy, but only in her actual punk skin is it in punk style. It definitely isn't something I'd say labels her as a lesbian though.

This person seems to be unaware of what cringe is supposed to be. It really has nothing to do with making fun of people with whom you dissagree politicaly, it is all about fremdschämen for people who act completely socially unawares, for example an edgy 14 year old.

Then again, if you are so upsett about a made up ideology that you compare them to the threat of neo nazis then i would imagine you are less than interested in things like the meaning of words you are using or the thoughts of anyone but yourself.
