Because anyone that points out their own piss-poor behavior is "bad", even if all they do is post screencaps with no commentary. It's attention from people that don't think like they do, and they can't deal with that, so they lash out and claim they're being "harassed" or "stalked" when they're the ones that made everything public and easily-documentable in the first place.

And the bullshit podcast thing. The only Podcast Tumblr knows is Welcome to Night Vale and they probably don't know anything else. Also apparently they're popular because you don't have a visual representation of the character therefore you can reimagine them as whatever you want. Including a self-indulgent self insert copy of yourself.
And this kills me inside because diversity in media is really cool when it makes sense and isn't forced to fill a fucking diversity quota.

Token characters never feel right imo. You just feel they're there for the author to give asspats to themselves. They're either written to be these lazy stereotypes or they're just written as acting like white americans, these writers never take into consideration people behave differently in other countries and cultures.
I really dislike this pressure tumblr gives on writers. It makes people more hesitant to draw or write their original ideas, and to people that are open to writing other cultures/"diversity" they're driven off by the smugness and authoritarian attitudes these bitches have.
Also, wasn't tumblr a few months ago bitching about JK Rowling appropriating native american myths? So what, do we have to diversify our writings or not? i swear tumblr genuinely suffers from bipolar disorder.
EDIT: Also they should put their money on their mouth. They spend ages wanting and bitching about wanting media with POC, but once they're given it (Empire, Moana), they never do anything to support it like watching it legally or buying its merch.

It's simple, if you are white you have to draw POC characters or you're racist, but if you draw POC characters you're a racist.

An example I can think of is Luke Cage, that Marvel Netflix series about that bulletproof black guy? They screeeeeeeamed and called it racist and I'm not sure it's getting a second season.
But we need a Black Hermione and a Black Captain America, though. That's the real deal.
If you're talking about the underwater sceneries you're right, it's pretty. Pretty colours. I'll only be convinced if we see human characters.

That's the weird irony of SJWs, they'll complain and attack everyone they deem "racist" and clamor for more "diversity" in the media, but they never pay attention to actual original POC characters, movies or writers. Instead they just waste time on popular white characters being racebended. Instead of giving more awareness to characters like Luke Cage or Storm, they flock like birds to black Cinderella or the like. It boggles the mind, really.

Tumblrinas seem to go apeshit if they never actually see someone, and they always end up making those people into whatever they want them to be (usually fat, black, a made-up tumblr gender, and wearing makeup if they're a guy). I remember people arguing about the races of the Nightvale characters back when it was just becoming popular, and that was before this shit got to where it is now.
Case in point: I can't go looking for any gifs or anything with H2O Delirious (redneck Youtube gamer that laughs like an evil clown) because I run across way too much batshit insane, fetishistic fan art:
