Standard "everything is socially constructed except our fantasies about gender which are gospel science" bullshit. It is true that "white" and "black" aren't races. Your skin color pretty much depends on where your ancestors lived. Cold and dim? White. Hot and bright? Black. There are a ridiculous number of black "races" which are not even remotely related to each other. Same with white although Northern Europeans seem to predominate.

Africa is also the continent with the most genetic diversity in humans on the planet, despite being considered to have less races than asia in the west.

I do remember reading something about how when humans migrated all over the planet (which took a long while) groups got split off all the time, with as far as I recall part of the original group staying in the south, then them moving up and a group staying in the north, then another group splitting from that group and eventually ending up in europe (with of course a fair amount of splits in between).
Since the europeans split from the northern africans way more recently than the northern africans split from the southern africans, it means that the northern africans and southern africans have evolved separately from eachother longer than northern africans and euros have, in turn making them less similar to southern africans than to europeans on a genetic level despite the more similar phenotypes. And it also makes europeans and east asians genetically more similar to eachother than africans to other africans too since those split even more recently.

Same happens with most species of all kinds (including plants, bacteria etc), bigger genetic diversity in areas its been for longer is super common.

Their claim that 2 white people can share less dna than a white person and a black person is generally pretty bull tho, thats pretty much dependent on how much % european blood the black person secretly has and its source.
There is a point that what gets to be considered a race and what doesnt is pretty silly (like the chinese, indians and arabs all being considered different things while all africans are shoved into 1 box despite having more genetic differences between themselves) but that doesnt mean the genetic differences between whats considered white (or non-black) and whats considered black dont exist at all, theyre still the group all the other official races split the earliest from after all and therefore the most different lol.
