Going to be a weeb here and say there were also lots of panty shots in Sailor Moon, more than a handful of times Usagi or other characters were naked/nearly naked when they didn't need to be, and I recall a specific scene in the manga when Chibiusa was desribing Usagi's body in a kinda weirdly sexual way.
But I guess when you don't really read or watch what you're talking about you can just omit everything you don't like.

To some extent, virgin-shaming is a thing. Men get shit for not losing theirs before they're adults, and women are accused of being "frigid" and "selfish" for not giving it up to the boyfriend du jour. Both have to put up with "prude", "phobic", and all kinds of nonsense about how their failure to put out at random is some sort of tacit judgment of people who do.
With that said, it's not oppression, any more than being called "fundie" is for people with strong religious beliefs.

Not only that but Takeuchi drew Usagi naked many times in several stand-alone illustrations, including some where she was naked with Mamoru and with the strong implication that they've had sex. Were Sailor Moon a new thing, Tumblr would be demanding for her head on a pike and calling her "pedophile" and "creepy".
