This seems to be some kind of fad with LGBT Tumblr; taking either a benign (fucking babadook) or normally serious thing (*minor inconvenience* is LITERALLY homophobia) to try and "reclaim" it, which ends up being a very poor form of slactivism in that these are just popularity-based things that'll fade away in a couple weeks, given enough time to burn out.
Also, who the fuck just reassigns horror movie monsters to gay icons and expects them to be taken seriously in the long run instead of actually going to Pride events?
