Whilst I wholeheartedly agree there is a lot of institutional bigotry in the police that needs to fuck off (and is!) and the police in America can be very barbaric at times this post on the whole is fucking stupid. The cops are literally fucking there to stop people getting hurt. Maybe I'm not seeing it because I'm a dirty cishet who shouldnotbeatprideanyway™* but the police at my local Pride are brilliant and gay cops embrace the celebrations.

Also, the jibe at B99 is just ridiculous. The show is championed time and time again for having a diverse cast and is a pretty solid show without being too preachy but now it's apparently 'copiganda' because you know... IT LITERALLY KILLS LGBT PEOPLE.

Just because these fucking Tumblr anarchists, lesbians who want to be special so pretend to be trans are wussies irl and all they do at Pride - if they can even bother leaving their laptop to go - is take selfies of them with some fake prideflag** makeup on doesn't mean the police are oppressing them by preventing a riot. Rioting is just going to make society reluctant at spending public money on such a big event.

*literally Tumblr is obsessed with this point. :powerlevel: I've been to Pride the last few years because my LGBT friends are (mostly) normal fucking people and want to enjoy the event with their friends.

**as in 'uwu this is my lesbian nonbinary-steven-universe-pride-flag' not as in 'the pride flag is fake'.

If people who don't transition, don't want to transition, don't feel dysphoria, and just happen to not match up perfectly with gender roles, are trans, then that describes the entire other 99.97% of the population. I'm trans. You're trans. Everybody's trans. Words are meaningless.

This guy is in the 11th grade at best. I remember being about sixteen when I had to read Frankenstein and this was always the 'big reveal' and talking point in English class. He wasn't named because he was seen as inhuman even by Victor, the man who made him, and was only human when people couldn't see him. Even a child, one of the people he tried to take as a companion, even noticed it and it's why he was killed by the monster. Hell, the monster read Lost Paradise and even related to Lucifer as being an outcast by his creator. He then goes on to have Victor make him a bride, one that we have no idea if they would have fallen for each other regardless or if she would have been a drooling infantile minded thing for a while like the monster was, and kills Victor's love in retaliation when Victor realizes it wouldn't be good.
You're not that deep to make dumb connections when being lead in a discussion by a teacher.

Severe ADHD does suck and really does cripple a person's ability to perform tasks that most people do easily, like executive functioning and whatnot, but it's manageable. It's not one of those disorders where you have it and you just throw up your hands and go WELP looks like I'm gonna sit around and moan for the rest of my life because I can't do shit about this. There's not just medicine, there're also coaches who can teach planning skills, and also the fact that the disorder causes the brain to mature more slowly, not keeping it from maturing at all! Even if you have ADHD, you can cope and learn and progress, and your brain will still slowly play catch-up to your peers. No one ever treated ADHD like it was the end of the world when I was in school, and that wasn't that long ago!

Also what's this about being hated by your friends? That sounds more like anxiety but ok.
