I know this isn't a Tumblr post but OP does have a Tumblr and it's very Tumblr-esque, so it counts right?

So, this is a friend and coursemate. We current have an essay due to be submitted in less than 24 hours for this arty-farty theory course I wish I never took. Whilst my essay is very bog-standard and uncontroversial (mainly because I don't like the subject but also because being obscure won't get me a better grade) she's taking this essay from a 'queer' perspective despite the fact she's cishet.

Anyway, she posted this on the 'gram:

- Pretty sure she bought this book second hand for like a penny on Amazon.

- This looks a lot like female handwriting, whilst I don't doubt some guys write in this almost pre-teen bubble style, most guys write like absolute shit. So she's just assumed someones (probably annoying) note in an old textbook is a guys because she disagrees with it? Okay.

The thing is, this class isn't even a feminist/queer theory class - she just decided to do her essay from a queer perspective because she has no thought process outside feminism. I think the book was discounted because it was second hand and written in, I got so many books on Amazon for a penny (not including shipping) for my thesis - but yeah, if a guy had this book for a class about feminism I doubt he's a far right woman hater.

She's just likes to find anyway possible to be angry about men, lol. We did two classes on Foucault and she decided that because all of the reading for that class was by men authors that it counted as 'capillary of power' which contributed towards the academic demonisation over woman.... ???

The thing is, despite her stereotypical 'college feminist' rhetoric she's a pretty cool person, and we are very similar politically, she just likes to take feminism to the extreme (and also appropriate queer culture, for some odd reason).

In their world, women can choose to be attractive and dress slutty for nobody but themselves.
But also no woman can choose to be attractive, the only way that could happen is if she was brainwashed by men.

The position they choose varies based on a coin flip.

The autism acceptance community is cancer

The stuff about therapy dogs seems reasonable, but you’d have to be an autist to think that everyone will automatically know how to treat you at any given situation. Also, it makes me want to dress up as a sexy mental patient just to spite whoever wrote this.

The funniest thing is is that Margot Robbie apparently had a big hand in designing the first costume and really enjoyed being in it.

Also, from a design standpoint, the second one has so much shit going on in it that it looks muddled and trashy. It's an objectively bad design.
