Why is it when they talk about strong gay characters in videogames, no one ever brings up Fallout New Vegas and the frankly brilliantly written character that was Arcade Gannon? A man struggling between being a doctor, his upbringing, the challenges of becoming sustainable in a post apocalypse and the sins of his father, all while being gay.
Not once is he mentioned, but Bioware put out a 2d stereotype of a "fully gay" character (and yes, that was how they announced him. They didn't lead with his name, his class, his race or even his backstory, they lead with his sexuality) and that is somehow progressive? He's about as progressive as the most stereotypically effeminate gay best friend character on a 90's sitcom.
Tumblr doesn't want progressive characters, it wants a checklist of minorities so they can check the games privilege before they see if its actually worth paying for

I killed my husband, and now he's not paying child support, i am being OPPRESSED!!!!

i also had a strange thought of laws forcing jobs to hire more women (for equality)
and some tumblrfems ending up doing work like alaskan king crab fishing, and just being miserable

also before anyone asks, if you bring up dangerous and dirty jobs to the radfems on tumblr they just go LOLOLOL MEN CAN HAVE THAT JOB I JUST WANT TO BE HANDED A CUSHY JOB WHERE I CAN DO NOTHING LOLOL

and i need to find that "what would happen if all the men went away" post sometime.

God, imagine if this were a guy talking about how he didn't need women just because he had a vagina sex toy. The rage would be unending. It's like when Tumblr gets all giddy about female "sperm" from bone marrow and "hehe, we don't need those terrible men anymore" but gets incredibly triggered when someone brings up male "eggs" or hell, an artificial womb.

Tumblr has actively stated before that they think an artificial womb would be a terrible invention and are trying to prevent it from being made. Despite it being, you know, one of the most valuable pieces of future tech that we as a human race need.

They're incredibly afraid that artificial wombs will undo abortion activism because then they think people will go "Well we can take it out and then put it in an artificial womb." Also, the other reason is the male equivalent to them are the kind to go "haha, now we don't need those women!" to this sort of thing.

I know someone who identifies as a transman. They throw away money on useless shit (like an expensive piece of merch I had my eye on to be honest), but then they turn around and bitch that they don't have the money to buy a binder and then whine that nobody calls them a boy in public.

Man, I'm pretty damn broke myself, but binders are way high up on the "shit to buy for transitioning" checklist.

Edit: They are not closeted and don't live with their family.

I like that they completely ignore women with fertility problems and go straight to men becoming single parents just to spite SJWs.
