Going to add my own unpopular opinion: That can actually be usful for when someones autism causes them to go non-verbal (for various reasons,that could have nothing to do with a huge triggery meltdown). Of course it wont work for everyone but from personal experience and others I know it can work sometimes.

They're not saying the lesbian is really straight, they're saying the lesbian gave them a scornful look that they somehow interpreted as disdain for not being LGBT. I'm not an expert, but it seems like the depressive episodes of bipolar disorder frequently cause confusion with MDD. Incorrect MDD diagnosis is a pretty major phenomenon, especially coming from underqualified "professionals", so that makes me think this person is intentionally misrepresenting successive diagnoses of an unclear problem as discrete mental issues just to cash in them oppression points.
