I don't want to breed with my friends, there's that for starters. I'm very close with both my parents too, it doesn't mean I'm gonna pull a Chris Chan and fuck them. Stop trying to fuck anything that talks to you.

No, I just understand the fluid nature of non-familial interpersonal relationships.
Also, yes, it may very well be a US thing.
I'm also defensive because I have a friendship like that: I call her my heterosexual life partner/platonic soulmate, since there's nothing sexual to it; we just have a very deep bond that goes deeper than any romantic relationship either of us has either had...and I'm about to be married.

I don't know man, it sound like you're simping way too hard about this person or just don't have those many human relationships to compare on imho.


You can have really close bond with your friends and your family and not feeling sexual attraction to them. We all have those. No need to make a mumbo-jumbo about it.
