I voted for just agree, disagree, and funny. Basically I feel that the ratings can be a substitute for things you wouldn't normally verbalize in an IRL conversation. Like nodding, clapping, jeering, shaking your head, laughing, etc. And they remove the need for posts like "LOL" or "Ya." Otherwise I think comments should be communicated like adults typically do.

We should have a "Scary" rating and a "Disgusting" rating. Both should be neutral because they would probably be used the most to respond to creepy or gross things lolcows have done.
