A reminder that Mona has her own lolcow thread.... I would contend that she cares a lot about many things other than Israel and Da Jews.

As for the other usernames you mention, it is pretty clear that only 3 individuals are involved, one of whom was dumb enough to get banned here also. RW would be a better place if it banned more people, not less.

Who are these coreligionists who have not had the balls to ban Mona yet?

It's certainly a very important factor, and I also think much of it happens unconsciously and not consciously.

And this is really not so strange. If you're a community with a wiki which has a certain set of ideas and viewpoints about something, and then someone comes in and disruptively edits in other viewpoints considered invalid by the community, then you're not going to be liked very much... Consider a homeopath coming in and editing in all sorts of alt-med crap, or some Christian editing in all sort of fundie crap. From RW's point of view, that's sort of what's happening...

This is also fine, as long as those viewpoints make sense, and as long as people *are* treated with respect if their behaviour is reasonable. For example, that fundie Christian might do some really good pages on alt-med...

The problem now is that some of "RW's viewpoints", so to speak, are very much devoid of some sense of balance. In some cases this is just an oversight and can be corrected. This is the case on the religious pages, alt-med pages, etc. As I've said many times before: there is some crap there, but much of it is really quite good.

On other pages, adding a more reasonable discussion and balanced viewpoint is a crime against humanity and will make you an outlaw by some viewpoints.

Again, this is only in the viewpoint is a fairly small number of people. We all know who. But the way RW is set up (no real enforceable rules) means those few people can bully and crap all over people until they give up...
