She is absolutely terrifying. And the levels of control she exerts over her partner must have done a serious number on his self-esteem. I hope someone gets that kid an intervention.

Two thoughts came to my mind as I read the post about this lady. First off, I think that her severe disappointment in her son (for what seems to be typical teenage behavior) led her to choose a teenage boy for a partner as a kind of replacement for him. I also believe she has very bad self-esteem issues and married a much younger boy so she could feel as though she had a position of importance and authority. She's basically trying to blend a son, a husband, and a house pet together, with pretty disturbing results.

This, She is the girl who didn't pull at 16 who is reliving her ideal of the past. And sadly she had a Child the same age as the guy she is fucking, and a whole load of other issues. I know a few people who never grew up but people like her are a oddity as she did grow up a bit but's ceased on youth, not recapturing her youth but reliving it a Idealized version anyway.

I tried to get through as much of the wall of text that is "Our Story" (although my preemptive skimming seems to be telling me it's mostly be about her) as I could before my eyes crossed, and I sympathized with her at first because I know how shitty it is to be bounced around to so many places while so young and to have very unbalanced (step)parents on top of that. That is until I got to this part, and I had such a hard time believing what she wrote after that:

If the stepmom really did do that and then showed the apartment to a friend, I would think that most rational people would raise the question as to why there was a naked young girl lying on a bed with a bloodied up face. The off-handed mentions of being raped and Child Called It-levels of child abuse also raised some red flags for me.

All this stuff really started coming out when he moved out of her house. She's always treated him like garbage but when he moved in with his girlfriend's parents she really lost her shit.

Dorian is a really fucked up kid and it is all a direct result of his mom. His girlfriend is basically Raven jr, too.
