They have never ventured back to SC, dying grandma was when they were still there.

They are absolutely still squatting in the same Michigan garage. Raven has become a permanent charity case to who ever this lonely goth woman In Michigan is. She has a permanent pet granny goth now.

I’m sure she thought it was a safe plan. Help a desperate online goth friend. Raven and Josh could stay in an empty cabin during the off season and be forced to leave one spring arrived. Only they didn’t. I can only imagine trying to extract them once the first holiday renters were due. Instead of packing up and leaving Raven asked about the garage. The woman would have said “oh you can’t possibly live in there”, but Raven was very insistent they could and otherwise she was thinking they’d have to set up a tent nearby. The woman relented thinking they couldn’t possibly stand to live in a garage for very long. Wrong again!

I just wonder if Raven had to low key threaten tenant’s rights since she had been living for free for so long. No doubt suicide baiting has occurred anytime the owner might even hint about moving.

As for the free samples Raven gets, anyone with a YT channel or IG page can get that stuff. Lot cheaper for companies to give away product than pay the big boys for more targeted ads. Shipping the item is more costly to the companies than the products.

The only surprise is Raven hasn’t gone blind from shoving all the questionable quality and free colored contacts she gets.

I’d love to know the story behind the host that got roped into adopting goth grandma and hubby. She obviously thought she was going to help out some online friend without too much hassle. I’d just like to know it has played out for them to milk free shelter for three years.

I wouldn't be surprised if the goth soulmates are procuring drugs for their hosts. It would be an easy way to maintain a habit without having to interact with the local druggies and dealers; and if the shit hits the fan and Raven or her SO is busted, the hosts can say, "I had no idea!" and kick them out. (It wouldn't actually work out that way, but let's face it, if you let Raven, her husband, and their hoard of junk and cats squat in your shed for three years, you aren't all that bright.)

Wow, not what I expected at all. I thought maybe some goth girl who inherited grandma’s cabins.

So why is a fairly normal appearing Christian mom volunteering to house Raven and couch boy? Could it be one of those weird things where a Christian lady thinks she will convert a witch/ satanist to Jesus?

One thing that did throw me for a loop was that she is a very large lady. In the head shots she appears like a normal woman with some chub but I came across one body shot and she’s XXXL. I know Raven had gastric bypass in NZ years ago. I wonder if they met via online support forums for ladies getting gastric bypass or something of the sort.

It’s just hard to figure how their paths crossed in any way. She doesn’t appear like a reformed goth girl or anything. It’s hard to imagine her letting someone who dresses like Raven live on her property for years.

Any chance there is some weird family connection or relation? Like someone from her dad’s side of the family?

Also, Josh’s FB quote is some 3edgy4u thing about how much religion sucks. I wonder how Kelly feels about that. I'm sure Raven and her male companion get foodstamps and some kind of monthly government benefits she can trade for their meager lodgings. I haven't thought about this person in a long time but saw the thread on the front page and wanted to revisit it. Her life story never disappoints. Whatever arrangement she has with these people, I'm sure it's built on lies and a lot of shady, fraudulent dealings.

She posted a YouTube review a couple of months back for some color changing lights, she was still living in the Gothic Garage then. I hope they have a smoke detector because it looks like a fire hazard.

According to Raven's YouTube about page she is a registered cat foster, so I guess Michigan will let just anyone be a foster.

Her living spaces always look like they belong to a 14 year old who just started to really get into goth fashion and decorations. It's the last thing you'd expect from a much older woman. I wonder how much money (that they don't have) she spent on all that frivolous crap?

I still think Josh has a drug problem. There’s no way two sober people could tolerate living this way for so long.

Why would she tell anyone this? That's humiliating. It's something that desperate people do who have no other options and it's either that or sleeping in the park. Her lack of shame shouldn't surprise me, but for some reason it does. She hates how randos on the internet "troll" her, but then she announces that her man has to sell plasma to make ends meet. It never ends with these people.

I’m sure she could find a new guy online, but the stability/resources such a guy might offer her is debatable. She found Josh attractive, he supposedly had a home but most importantly he responded exactly as needed to her attention and declarations of love.

I suppose that's the sort of catch 22 of this isn't it. The type of man who she ideally wants who has his shit together is also the sort of man who is smart enough to know to avoid her. Josh is probably the best "good enough" option and the best part is she can somehow manage to con him into staying in that garage with her.

The real trap of being with people with no standards is if they don't hold you to any standards, they certainly don't hold themselves to any either.

Josh can tolerate the squalor and boredom thanks to drugs and Raven can tolerate it because it keeps Josh under her control.

I see Josh has the thousand yard stare in a lot of the videos that include him. This made me chuckle a little because in a way I suppose she does have her own vampire hypnosis, but it's only limited to manipulating Josh into staying with her.

I don’t know about Michigan, but in many places laws favor tenants and even squatters over property owners. It may be that Diana and Josh have been there so long it’d be an expensive legal battle to evict them. So fat lady just eats and prays they’ll leave.

My understanding was the garage wasn’t attached to the house? Or it’s an actual cabin? I hope that’s true for Kelly’s sake, and these people don’t have to come in and use the bathroom.

Never be kind and allow somebody to stay with you a few months “until they get on their feet.” They may be with you forever.
