Razzies 2021

Wasn't one of the "winners" a Dinesh D'Souza doc on the Dems? I heard it was rather shoddily edited and very much biased (it is Dinesh D'Souza we are talking about), but not to that point it took home a shitload of Razzies.

Meanwhile, obviously biased docs like Sicko and The Edge of Democracy get nominations for the Oscars.

That's all you need to know about who runs these travesties. Those prizes were never about the talent (or lack thereof).

I saw that piece of shit Music, Kate Hudson is trying her damndest to save that movie and if anything, she was the only thing about the movie that was above average.

BHB might be the least funny comedy I've seen produced by a Major Studio, it deserved the award.

They probably think that Eddie Murphy's version is an original IP.
Who nominates these things?

Also, Schwarzenegger is nominated for a movie that features Rutger Hauer who died in July 2019.
I guess the Western release date counts but still, this is dumb.

Why the fuck is Artemis Fowl not on this list? Or The War with Grandpa? Or Money Plane? Or Mulan?

And Bruce Willis deserves to win his award. I watched Hard Kill a while back and he clearly looked like he could give less of a fuck.

They did say they were taking straight-to-VOD films into consideration. Didn't know they would go this deep, though. Artemis Fowl exists, you know.

You saw Music? How was the portrayal of autism in the film? People (Twitter) gave it flack for that.

This only goes to show how useless the Razzies being political is. You think Rudy Giuliani, Mike Lindell, D'Souza or Trump care about being nominated for anything? They're not actors or artsy Hollywood film directors. They're political commentators and politicians. They could care less. They're so interested in being political that other shitty movies don't get nominated. This is just a circlejerk at this point.

Legit forgot that was even a thing, but I think even Disney wants to forget about that bomb. They were more interested in John Carter than Lone Ranger if you ask me, but when it bombed, they probably sent in Lone Ranger to die since it had cost just as much as Carter. Also Johnny Depp, think Disney was always looking for an excuse to screw the man over even before Heard's #MeTooing.

As someone with the tism, the performance was awful but clearly well meaning, I mean she tried and I'll give them that. Problem is the piss poor direction and the film constantly changing tone, where with one scene you get this melodrama and then it switches to a musical, it just doesn't work here.
It's like I Am Sam meets Dancer in the Dark except with none of the professionalism of the former and in the latter went all full retard.

Well it just shows their desperate because of lack of content

they have to put political people up for categories and a full moon picture movie too.

They can't put Mulan or Artemis Fowl in those categories because "diversity matters guys"
