It's funny too, Puerto Ricans can be vaguely tan enough to be confused with Mexicans, but a lot of them are very, very, very light skinned as all hell. Save for dark hair and eyes, they can have features of a standard spainard.

That's.... actually pretty sad. I kinda get it, not everyone is capable of being a showrunner like Jhonen Vasquez, Pen Ward, or Rebecca Sugar, but the way she phrases it means she'd rather be creatively bankrupt (moreso than she is already) than actually trying to apply and better herself.

I'm sure she'll change her mind in a few years, though. Most people who claim they'd rather stick with fan art and/or working on established properties usually end up wanting to do creator-owned stuff once they find the corporate world to be too constricting.

Eh, not sure what she wants to do. Pretty much any other position other than concept artist doesn't require you to come up with anything new for the story. So it's not necessarily a death sentence.

I'm noticing that in a lot of her replies, it's usually, "oh i hate x but it's okay when i do x lolz!!".

I hate people who are aware of what being shitty is, but do it anyways. She reminds me of those douche frat boys that don't understand why nobody except other frat boys wants to be around them.

Holy shit, I just caught up on all of this.

Its been a while since I've seen the hyper idiotic community on tumblr actually attack the right person, so that's always nice.

I remember seeing some of rcd's art a while ago, and I was disgusted by it mainly because their grasp of characterisation is so astoundingly off. Not to mention that her art has progressively degenerated since then, so I'm astounded they have the guts/audacity to claim they're the best artist in the Marvel fandom, when some of the bloggers in the fandom are literally posting their cover art for genuine books, not just warped reflections of insane headcanons.
