Artcow rcdart / Rory Cummings-Dise - Tranny Fetishist who Torpedoed a Potential Animation Career

Her art keeps getting worse because she suffers from the classic lolcow combination of laziness+ego.

Her lines and colouring are getting sloppier and lazier by the day, but she still thinks she's perfect.

All bitching about her art aside, I can't understand why you'd write in such sloppy, worthless dialogue into your art like that. At the very least don't write "lol" in a speech bubble, you twit.

I'm not gonna repost every doodle of Rory's here, but this one deserves a special mention:

it just keeps happening. the art keeps getting worse and worse and it won't fucking STOP
what the fuck is that pose?? it's like she drew 5 different poses and chopped up the body parts to paste onto one picture.
it's basically the same thing she does with her art style.

i'm really hoping her professors aren't encouraging this shit. i hope that it's just rory being a stubborn baby. because if the professors are encouraging it, then the other students who just want to learn proper art skills are gonna be fucked.

but then again it's calarts.

I'm reaching quite a bit to say this but to be fair, if you redlined Adventure Time or SU, of course it would be fucked up since that's the style, but we know that this is actually how Rory draws. Don't professionals have a 'personal' style and another one they adapt for whatever they're working on?
From the sheer amount of lazy leaking from every drawing, I'm doubting if she actually wants to pursue a career in this. She's not that old so she might have it in her head that college is high school 2.0 except she gets to draw more instead of taking it seriously like the career-affecting decision it is. It's easy to let your parents pay for you to go to art school and do your hobby 24/7 rather than get a job after all.

sure, but there are still anatomical rules you have to follow lest you create some eldritch/uncanny valley abomination.

notice how finn's arms still only come to mid leg, and his head - while large - is still proprtional to his body. his legs are about the same length as his torso too. yes, it is stylised, but it has the basics of anatomy solid and only breaks the parts that are still within "aesthetically pleasing". rory doesn't have that. various parts are too small, or the wrong area is exaggerated and it throws the whole thing off. her portrayals don't resemble the characters theyre based off of.

stylisation is something that is surprisingly hard to master, and theres a reason professional artists and teachers tell you to learn the basics. you have to know the rules inside and out to break them effectively.
