Artcow rcdart / Rory Cummings-Dise - Tranny Fetishist who Torpedoed a Potential Animation Career

What edgy version?

Undertale spawned so many AU's, but the most common ones were Underswap and Underfell. Underswap basically swapped each pair of related characters' personality - lazy Papyrus, overexcited Sans, that sort of thing. Underfell was just edgy for edgy's sake: everything was red-and-black and Sans liked mustard, not ketchup. Also Papyrus dressed like a Hot Topic reject. It was very...Onceler.

then again undertale is an edgy game anyways..

well since the art standards on tumblr are INCREDIBLY LOW, she's gonna have a whole website full of ding dongs praising her art and 'TALENTS'.
she's obviously gonna grow to bitch about how all her art teachers are wrong and anyone who opposes her, because she's got the PROGRESSIUN crowd backing her up.

Tumblr has to be the worst place for an artist, especially newer ones, it's home to the least original ideas out there. Almost all art blends together in a blur of pastels and "diversity".

It's also full of people who don't appreciate artists, who bully them into submission for fear of being called racist/sexist/homophobic/transphobic, or worse, a pedophile/pedophile supporter; or drive them off the site, after attempts at tarnishing their reputation. As well as attempted doxing. Tumblr REALLY isn't artist friendly, you'd have better on the cesspool that's DA; even with all the cringe, at least it's not full of psychopaths waiting for you to fuck up (or lying and making bullshit up out of jealousy about you in order to get others to hate you).

This is the exact reason why I will never post my art on tumblr.
Also your icon is the perfect reaction image to go along with what you said

As someone who has posted art on pretty much all the big sites, tumblr is by far the worst. You don’t get any recognition whatsoever, only one or two notes because of the endless stream of garbage that’s posted every minute by people not even using the tags right. That is, unless you post stuff for fandoms exclusively, which is why people like Rory can exist so vehemently. Artists on that site learn to hate originality because it doesn’t get any attention, flocking to making their own magical girl redraws, PK-like Pokemon rip offs, and AUs for all the attention they’d ever want.

What they don’t understand is that their audience isn’t dependent on the artists and their work, it’s all a byproduct of the brand they ride on, so the second they start their own stuff their audience just leaves (the only exception to this is artists with an audience already who then do fan art on the side for fun). That’s why Rory ‘hates doing original concepts’; tumblr has taught her to. And it’s also why she has so many fans; that’s all she posts and will ever post.

Tumblr is trash for more reasons than the obvious ones.

:offtopic: Snooped around Tumblr out of curiosity a few days ago, noticed staff (Tumblr staff) had reblogged something from a self proclaimed, "communist queer", and upon visiting Tumblr staff's blog, it was surreal. It was like looking at your average Tumblrite- stale memes, "how to be an ally", skewed/bias statistics, victim-pandering. That was sorta shocking to me in the sense that you'd think they would know better, but whatever keeps the masses happy, I guess. You know shit's fucked when even the people who run the site itself have to play along or else.
I learned that day that it isn't just the users you should be wary of, it's the entire community- including the people who keep it running.

Instead of Vine, why didn't they shut down Tumblr? At least then it wouldn't have been a loss to practically anybody, hell, you'd get a lot of good shit outta that, actually...

Considering this is the same community that drove a girl to suicide (luckily she was found in time) and ganging up on people who don't fit their status quo I'm not surprised that even the staff are scared of them.

I went to see how similar prince bubble gum and cap were when I noticed that Rory has worse same face than I thought

**EDIT: Just noticed that they all have similar if not identical bodies

powerlevel: but idk what yall are talking about. i post tumblr art. i don't do anything progressive or deliberately ugly, i have prolly done more shit they'd find sexist if anything. and tbh? i get a decent amount of recognition. it's the only platform i have been successful on. so i don't think the site is half bad for doing art, in fact i think it might be one of the best bc of the tag system helps get art around.
not to say i haven't had tumblrinas at my throat with my content once or twice, but generally they won't do shit unless the numbers are stacked. which is why i think it is kind of commendable that nitro did what she did without being afraid of backlash lmao

I definitely don't think it's impossible for someone to get plenty of recognition on that site, but for newcomers and young, still learning artists, it's awful to only get notes on tags for fandoms while everything else gets little to nothing. It teaches people like Rory that there isn't a point in doing original works (this is only really true for kids/people who aren't very confident, aka the people tumblr feeds on most).

Not to mention her porn pics are always the same expression;
ugh.png

Always closed/mostly closed upper eyelids, raised eyebrows, slightly open mouth, blush. Like, does Rory not fucking know that people can have variable expressions? Like, wrinkled nose or raised lower eyelid or pleasured sneer or fucking anything? How does she just draw the same face over and over and get any intrigue from it?

I think her drawings became more and more melty... she wants her lines to be flowy and dynamic, but drawings almost completly lost structure. She is probably scared that her characters are going to became stiff when she uses more than two straight lines per picture.
