If you're an adopted kid of any ethnicity raised from early childhood in whatever culture, that culture you were raised in is the one you've got to claim for yourself. They flip tables making passive aggressive posts when people 'mistag' their art or receive compliments where the fan accidentally says something that could possibly be construed as offensive on whatever planet they're originally from. I've come across this person's art before and my god. The salt they exude when their fanart of Predator's fucking each other gets "misgendered" in the tags is insane. I'm pretty sure Predator's have no concept of Earthly bullshit like "genderqueer" anyway.

Since Rory isn't being enough of a lolcow lately because of the election or whatever, I decided to go through her tumblr archive and see how much her style has changed, and how sad this whole thing really is when you look beyond just the tranny fetish stuff.
Here we have nice colors, good line weight, a slightly dopey expression but nothing too bad. Overall, not a bad piece of art.
While the characters do have some huge noses, The difference in the styles of the character's hair (left being spikey and right being round) is a nice touch to show personality, and the stylization isn't too blaring.
You can see here that Rory's full body anatomy was never really all that great, but there was something to it, like distribution of weight being mostly proper and the lines being interesting to look at. The pose is also unique, compared to her current stuff which is all the same.
Rory has always had a problem with large limbs being too simplified (ruby on the right having meat tubes for legs) and arm lengths being too long (sapphire on the left being the best example), but the style of the characters and the simplicity of them doesn't make it too glaring or gross to look at unless you stare for too long.
Undertale canon bullshit aside, the anatomy in this pic is atrocious. Undyne (left) has no anatomy whatsoever, with noodle limbs in full force and legs that go from skinny to wide as hell at the heel, awful hands that don't make any sense (seriously, try to put your thumb like that), and a face only a mother can love. Not to mention Mettaton (right) has one huge hand and one small one, calves that somehow bend forward, and a lower body twice the mass of his upper body.
Do I even need to comment on how shit everything is here?
And here we are, folks, stretch marks, shitty tumblr tees, hands that are just circles, and awful anatomy. How far the have mighty fallen.

It's been said time and again on this thread that Rory refuses to accept criticism so her work suffers from asspats. I think it's even worse that supposedly qualified instructors are continuing the trend with not just her but other students. What a fucking waste of time and money.
