But then the rest of the time is garbage like this that gives characters dwarfism.

co-director of su confirmed that the characters dont have consistent heights, he just says it like it's a quirky minor thing and not like, a major inconsistency problem

The thing is that even within the same episode, even if the height isn't consistent, the storyboarders' style has consistency within itself. I've seen sketchbook stuff from some of SU's storyboard artists and even the shit ones can keep the same character looking consistent, unless they're deliberately trying something else on the same sketch page.
It may not be entirely fair to compare an art school freshman to established animators in the industry, but Rory is convinced the sun is shining out of her ass and she isn't even trying.

It's sad that Rory is in more well-known and one of the best (ok, there are some controversies abou Cal arts style and rise of SJWism, but it's still highly regarded school) animation schools in the world, because she once made good portfolio and has rich mums, while many people who draw better can't afford that or in their country there is no university with good animation course.
This girl is so lucky and choose to draw ugly characters that resemble ugly, abstract blobs more and more with every new drawing.

I don't think I'll ever get tired of seeing Rory's bastardized versions of cartoon characters. And they aren't blobs my friend! Checking this thread is a joy. Every time I think "Wow, this is a new low for Rory. I don't know if her art can get any worse", I come back a week later and she's bastardized the human form in ways that I could have never imagined someone would do seriously, let alone have such an ego for! I wish she would drop out of CalArts and start doing horror works, because her talent for body horror is remarkable.
Wow! I was having art block, but Rory's amazing shape language art inspired me so much, that I had to try it out myself. Now I feel as though my characters can truly come to life with this precise, but bouncy style! Thank you, Rory!!
(Bonus points if you can guess who this beautiful CalArts sanctioned headcanon is.)
And remember; even if your art is bad... At least no one is paying millions of dollars a year for your art to be bad.

rory's definitely going to be that kind of person who needs someone to take care of her if she's barely realizing you actually have to do things around a house when your main support is gone. like, you're in college, you should know how to function alone without anyone babying you.
