I’m confused as to how a drama subreddit can make someone want to take estrogen. Yes, I know it’s Reddit, but engaging in manufactured, made for Internet drama just seems way too over dramatic to make a post over.

The mod Motherboard spoke to said that the subreddit was brigaded—a form of online trolling against a person or community where members of another community flood their target with harassment—after troll site rdrama caught wind of the AI art debate happening on r/Art, at least partially because of the virality of Moran’s tweets, and because a YouTuber with a large following posted a video about the situation that’s gathered nearly 365,000 views.

“It would be one thing if it were members of the community upset, but this seems to just be trolls looking for an excuse who've literally never been involved with the subreddit in any way previous to this,” the moderator told Motherboard.

The spectre of rdrama haunts the reddit jannies. I don't think anyone from rdrama was involved in this. It's not really a gayop of any kind; the entire controversy was because average redditors can't stop sperging over machine learning art models and reddit mods can't stop treating users like shit. It's still funny that the janny cope is to instantly blame trolls for the obvious consequences of their own shitty actions.

Unless the janny responsible for banning Ban Moran turns out to be some sort of rdrama plant from a long con ruse, fact of the matter is jannies made a retarded decision and doubled down on it when called out, and no amount of dang, dirty trolls brigading them affected that. I haven't seen proof of this "Harassment" they cited as reason for locking down and that's typical for any boy-crying-wolf who cries "harassment!"

This thread is a perfect example, is there even anyone posting here that’s not from there? It comes across as caring.
