Is it going to be a recurring theme that Chris threads are now inevitably going to devolve into threads where people get off on the idea of Chris getting much worse punishment than what he could actually get? I mean, I know Chris is recalcitrant towards mall cops, business owners, store employees and anyone else who disagrees with him, but I don't think that's worthy of him getting into Gitmo or killed by an inmate. I wouldn't even wish that on my worst enemy, let alone Chris.

I agree there. A-logging seems to be the new blue arms.

I'd say it's more like people are annoyed that he's repeatedly gotten off with slaps on the wrist, and are hoping that some serious punishment might actually teach him how to act like a grown up. A hopeless cause, but we can dream, can't we?

If they think prison and punishment would improve Chris, they are being naive and optimistic. It would just make him even more bitter and unhinged.

There was a continuance. Chris has not entered a plea, and will be back in Court on April 2, 2015.

And no, Chris did not spray anyone at the courthouse.

So why does everyone dismiss the gun talk? Just curious as I could honestly see him losing his shit one day

Think of it like: Chris doesn't know what a gun is.

That's not technically true, but it's a good approximation of why Chris shooting someone is a silly thing to discuss.

But like... he has drawn himself shooting a rival in his fantasy. I'm not suggesting he ever aimed to do that (lolpun) but that clearly shows he has at least has thought about it before. He has enough brain power to point and shoot, however inaccurately. I honestly don't think he would ever go on a spree, he actually seems too nice to go about that shit and he's religious enough to guilt himself out of the idea, but denying it even as a possibility seems silly

A gun is as real to Chris as becoming president or climbing Mount Everest.

He gets his tugboat right... Who's to say one day he doesn't decide to blow it on a gun? Not that he could maintain one, but it'd be good for a single use. Shooting a gun is certainly easier than both of those things, in fact probably easier than most things once you get the loading part down. The only thing I think would truly deter him if he was to truly lose his grip would be the fear of the gun itself. All that banging and jolting about can certainly stir some. He has the means monetarily and emotionally I think he is very close to doing such a thing sometimes, if not for the fear of the gun itself.

I mean he went on a fucking macing spree already, what's next? He always one-ups himself

Chris isn't going to shoot anyone. He's a pissy, whining, petulant little kid in a middle-aged woman's body. The jump from pepper spray to firearms is massive.

He didn't go on a 'macing spree.' He pepper sprayed one dude. And he got arrested for it.

The line of discussion gets ridiculous when people start taking Chris seriously as a threat to murder people, and some folks seem to really get off on the idea that Chris is some kind of monster. That's the primary reason that gun speculation is banned.

It is?

Shit, well that's a good to know.

I think some of the things that people push off as being too far from reality to even consider really shouldn't be pushed off as such. On 12-24-2014, if you started a thread saying, "you know, this blue arms thing is getting out of hand. He's going to keep defacing property and when someone calls him on it, he is going to spray them with pepper spray. He will think he can get away with it because he was being threatened!" You would be called all types of autistic names. That's conjecture, however look at prior statements in rebuttal to similar proposals. I don't think Chris will shoot someone, however I don't see it out of the realm of possibility. If Chris got his hands on Barb's Saturday Night Special and he was on one of his tard-outs and someone yanked his hand away from Sonic's precious arms I could see him pulling out the gun and using it as a way to escape. I could even see him firing if the MALE looked like someone who had pissed him off previously in life. He would think that since hands were put on him first that he could get away with it. He thinks he can get away with the pepper spraying because he felt threatened, I am sure he thinks the same rules apply to a gun.

With that kind of reasoning, aynone could pull a gun ( Ira Furor Brevis Est) , but Chrischun is not THAT retarded that he can't see the difference between spraying and point blank shoot someone... I mean, he's seen television, right?

By this reasoning, you could post all kinds of asinine speculation about pretty much anything. "What if Chris synthesized sarin gas and launched a terrorist attack on a subway?" No matter what new, dumb thing Chris does next, it won't have been predicted.

I think there is a difference between Chris knowing how to do something like that and Chris taking a gun rather than panties out of Barb's underwear drawer.

I don't think that exists.
I believe that it has been documented that she pulled it on Cole.

One would think he wouldn't be so retarded that he would spray a Gamestop employee down. There is a big difference between what we thought Chris was capable of in the past (absolutely nothing) and what he has proven he is dumb enough to do (pull a weapon and use it). How far is the leap between Chris spraying someone with mace and Chris shooting someone in the shoulder? It may not be as far as we think. Again, I don't think he would do it, but I wouldn't be shocked if it happened either.

I see what you mean, but i think Marvin said it best in a similar discussion before, he is too coward to do something drastic like that, his viewpoint on pepperspray was that it was a insta-win and no reprecaussions, while shooting someone is something the big bad crook does, you know, that guy who get's killed or sentenced for life... let's agree to disagree, i just don't see he would have the balls to even carrying a loaded gun. They are yuck.

If Chris got a gun, he'd shoot himself in the foot, most likely.

I highly doubt Chris would be able to get a gun, in that he'd never pass the background check, or at least he'd never be approved for a carry permit, concealed or open. And I can't imagine Barb wanting her little darling to touch a gun. She'd be afraid he'd hurt himself.

Chris is the type who uses mace because he sees it as something "harmless", he doesn't think of it as actual assault. At worst, I could see him going as far as getting a taser, but even that I think is unlikely.

He's never been convicted of a felony nor committed to a mental institution. As for concealed carry, Virginia is a "shall issue" state, meaning that the responsible agency for issuing such permits must provide an actual reason for not doing so. While you have to prove some competency, such as by completing a course with a number of possible entities, that's about all there is.

Chris might be too fucked up to get even that together, or not understand the necessity of getting such a permit at all, but I don't see any real reason he couldn't own a gun, just don't see the point in speculating about it since he's shown no inclination whatsoever to even want one.
